Christmas 2008 in Disneyland, CA

Post by vojna »

Hey all,

one of my childhood dream is about to come true. At the age of 28 I am finally going to visit Disneyland in California.

Could any of you UD´s give some tips for spending time in CA during the Christmas time? I am gonna be alone so any kind of help would be great.

For example... Is there some express shuttle, train, bus from Disneyland to LA (Hollywood) I can take later in the evening. I wanna stay in Disneyland as long as possible... see the fireworks etc...

Thanks for your help folks!

Well we're going to Disneyland for Christmas as well. We'll be in Anaheim from December 23-30. It can't help you much but Universal Studios and Knott's Berry Farm should be included. We've also got a 5-day Park Hopper to Disneyland. Be in Disneyland on Christmas Day. There will be a parade as well as fireworks.

I'd skip Christmas day, as see the Christmas parade and fireworks on any other day.

That day is usually packed, this year in particular it may not be as bad though.

We were at Disneyland on Christmas Day and it almost rained most of the day. It wasn't that busy as a result of the rain.

Went on Splash Mountain later that week and when I got my FastPass, I had to wait 3 hours before my time. The lineups for the standby line was 90 minutes. I loves Splash Mountain.
