since it's the next thing to review on the list, the review will probably be up either by midnight tonight or early tomorrow(this has been done before).
Thanks to both of you for your responses. :D

Can't wait to read it, whether it's good or bad, I always end up agreeing with the things stated in the reviews. lol Did anyone get it yet? I heard that when you preorder, it comes around a day earlier.

HOLD UP, why does it say that the box set only has 3 discs?!

ughhhh.................

Whatever, I'll just assume it's a typo. The trilogy box is just a box, with the same movies inside, right?

Thanks! :) Checked out the picture on the UD upcoming cover art page, and surprisingly, it either looks different or I'm just getting so used to it that I actually don't mind it any more. lol

Did it change, or am I used so used to seeing it?

Also, if anyone has bought it (TLM2 or the trilogy set), can you confirm the spine's color?

Thanks in advance, and I can not wait to read the review! :D

To anyone who bought it, PLEASE, could you post some pictures? I'm dying of curiosity to see how's the slipcover and the disc!
Thanks a lot!

I think that, especially due to the timing of the release, we won't be getting any pictures until significant holidays.

Well the deleted song, is BLAHH lol. I see why it was deleted. It is better than The Little Mermaid 3 Villain song though.
It is only 1 minute and 54 seconds long.
I will upload it later on youtube. :)

We had some snow in Jersey to. Not a lot to keep me from work though. :)

I am sooo upset! The movie looks like it is cropped to 1.85:1 instead of 1.66:1!

Why is Disney retarded?!?!?!?!? :x

I understand that you're upset, but please don't use that word, it's very offensive.

Yeah, and on the back of the new DVD it says it to but it's not! It is cropped! GRRRR :x

The transfer looks better though on the new DVD, that is a plus. It looks more of a a classic movie than a cheapquel. :D

@ Vermin Friends, sorry. :)

Hmm. That sucks. I'll still get it but I'd prefer more picture over the richness of the transfer.

well we are losing the top and bottom of the film. We are getting more sides of the film though. I would prefer the other way as well, but I am glad I have both films. :)

One day when I'm rich this may incite me to buy the other version, as well. However, for how poor this film supposedly is (haven't seen it yet myself) - a little bit chopped off may really make no difference.

I just don't get why Disney did it.

Also, is the trailer for The Princess and the Frog[/url] the same as the current one?

The Little Mermaid II: Special Edition

Post by Disney Duster »

Vermin Friends, it looks the same to me, I'm quite sure, but I was hoping the purple spine in the boxset indicated a totally different cover...oh well, Matt didn't say it changed!

Woah Matt, we really get more picture on the sides than we ever saw before or it just looks longer on the sides?

Oh, and I wanted to say, I actually love this movie, at least have a nice warm place for it in my heart. Vermin Friends, you know how The Little Mermaid: Ariel's Beginning was something to look forward to in your evil middle school days? Well, this film was something for me to look forward to, and it didn't really dissapoint! I think it's actually way, way better than Ariel's Beginning...sorry. Of course it's not really a good movie, and not near the original classic, but nearer than Ariel's Beginning (come on at least it has a dramatic challenging villain and, like, a plot that tries to be related to the first one's story). I just love things about it and I guess I really do have love for the movie. I actually like Tip and Dash...!
