Where to purchase Treasure Sets?

Post by Captain Hook »

I have never bought a Treasure set, but where is the best place to purchase them? I don't remember ever seeing them in stores for the last two years, but I want to get the Mickey Mouse this year.

I think they were in stores because I think I saw a set in Best Buy or Circuit City. You might want to try ebay but be VERY careful. Some people sell bootleg Disney DVD so you have to have a sharp eye to spot the fakes because some of them are really good. You can also try amazon.com or cdnow.com
Dragon, not lizard. I don't do that tongue thing.

I will buy mine from Dv-depot.com (canadian online store). They are not the cheapest place but they pack the discs realy good and when it comes to these discs I want them in the most perfect condition. 8)

Thanks guys, I bet I'll order it on amazon, it's for $23 right now, sound like a decent price. But if I don't, I could get it at Costco! :)

I'm ordering (have already ordered back in August) mine from Amazon. I used my trivia nickels to save some money on the shipping too. If you want to make sure you're getting a perfect tin, no dents, etc., I'd go to Best Buy or any other store you feel comfortable getting DVD's at.

I believe the person is asking about buying the upcoming release of the Treasures, not past releases.

It's best to check random stores MIGHT sell random dvd's. Otherwise, eBay. However, if you do decide to go the eBay route, be sure to not get a phony..

Yes, I was asking about getting the new release, since I want to get Mickey in Color 2, it has ALL of the Mickey shorts I've ever wanted: Mickey and the Beanstalk, The Prince and the Pauper, Mickey's Christmas Carol, and the Fantasia segment.

Got all mine from eBay.
Mainly because UK stores aren't allowed to sell R1 DVDs over the counter (DAMN YOU TONY BLAIR!)

I will be getting mine from Wal-Mart cuz I can count on the price of them being C$23.83 (US$17.65) and that will be the best price in town. The Disney Store may be the next best place to get them but I won't even consider going there, as long as there are 7 Wal-Marts here!

I just preordered Mickey in Living Color 2 on amazon, I am REALLY excited about owning all the different Mickey segments, as I never bought Fun and Fancy Free.

Thanks everyone for letting me know where to purchase it!

How about an average price check...

Wal-Mart - $
Best Buy - $
CostCo - $
Dis Store - $
Amazon - $
eBay - $
Half.com - $
Buy.com - $
