NBC Presents in fall of 2009 The Prime Time Show w/ Jay Leno

I am shocked...I would have thought he would move to ABC...but I guess NBC decided to meet Leno half way..

Although if Jay Leno was to go to ABC Night time I would switch because Jay Leno and ABC = Disney...no brainer for me what to watch..

The 10pm slot is odd, although I'm glad he is still on. I know Conan has a lot of fans, but I dread him taking over on The Tonight Show. I also thought Jay would go to ABC. Even my Dad thought Jay would go to ABC and be on before Jimmy Kimmel. I guess the NBC offer was better... who knows.

I know a few people that are very happy about the news though and have no plans to watch The Tonight Show after Jay leaves. I'll tune in for a little to see how it goes. Conan will have to change some from the way he does Late Night. Just curious to see how it all works out. I'm also wondering if this is a backup plan for NBC in case Conan doesn't work out on The Tonight Show so they don't loose viewers.

I, on the other hand, will start watching the Tonight Show once Jay Leno leaves. It will be nice to have a host who is, you know, funny.

I wish we could have Jon Stewart or Stephen T. Colbert on the Tonight Show.
