That like the opposite of what girls do...taking off their bras without taking off their shirts. But that seems a lot harder. I'm impressed.

And congrats on impressing Ed Asner. I would have loved to have meet him.

First off, I must say that this is my first Widescreen YouTube experience...

That is AWESOME! I don't know if I want to know how you knew you could do that, but I'm impressed with your talent, and more impressed that your talent impressed Ed Asner!!! Great job! :)

Michael, that is very impressive, but I am really concerned about your obesity. I know that you are not a well- person, but if could at least make an attempt at losing some of that weight you would be some much healthier for it.

41 months ago I weighed 457 pounds, and thought there was no hope. I was in total denial, but my doctors scared me when he told me if I didn't lose some weight I would live to see my 70th birthday. I was 65 years old at the time, and had never weighed more than 200 pounds ever.

Two weeks ago I stepped on the scales at my doctor's office and I officialy am weighing in at 272 pounds.

How did I do it, I quit eating solid food after 6 pm and gave up sodas, diet or otherwise. I drink a minimum of 12 bottles of water (.5 liter) and eat lots of fresh vegetables and fresh fruit. During this 41 months I was also diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes, so I truly have to watch what I eat, and I had to start doing some exercise. Exercises are hard for me, but I have finally enrolled in the YMCA and let a personal trainer help me find my comfort zone with a treadmill and stair-climber and then starting doing pool exercises.

I now am swimming 10 laps a day three days a week, I walk 10 miles on a treadmill, and do 10 repititions on a stair-climber. It isn't a lot, but after all the weight I have lost I look at myself in a mirror and know that I will someday be back down to my 200 pound self.

It isn't easy, and every day is a struggle. I have a lot of support from family and friends at work, and I have a pair of pants with a 68-inch waist band that I used to wear hanging on the wall in my bedroom to remind where I once was.

Michael, you too can do it, no matter how old you are, or what other afflictions you may have, they will improve or become less bothersome if you were try to make an effort lose your weight. You and I have talked about this before, and I think it is time that you start doing something about it, today.

:)

The weight issue....I have started to make an attempt to lose weight....I mean I am going to see a Dietian.. to hopefully give me some insight give me a plan..about what I should eat I mean just to guide me....and I have consulted with my parents that I might go to a place in Ohio that helps you with losing weight...like an inpatient unit for people who just are getting to the point of no return..I mean that looks like the best bet for me if all else fails...sooner than later....I need to look into it more....

and before everyone says Lap Band or Tummy Tuck or something...I have Crohn's Disease and besides the "Weight Loss Surgeries" don't make you lose weight...its the decrease in food that goes into your belly lose weight..

My doctor put it to me like this....I could walk in in two weeks and have a Lap Band Surgery if I wanted it that soon...but I would be dead within 6 weeks if I went that route....so his suggestion and advice is I count my calories....put no more than 2,000 calories a day in my body...and I will see a significant drop in weight loss which I plan on doing that 2,000 a day calories...Also the Exercise I would need to do at to lose the amount of weight I would need to at my current weight is not possible I would probably pass out cold if I did that much....now that's not to say no exercise at all...just walk up and down a staircase once a day and 2,000 calories day Or less

And the Surgery you don't just walk in schedule then have it done the next day....You have to through intense year long counseling and seeing psychologists and dietitians ..I would sooner go to Ohio and stay in an inpatient unit to lose weight than have surgery....and my insurance is set up that way that it would cover a lot of the costs of the weight loss inpatient unit in Ohio...

But before I look into Ohio..I am going to try the 2,000 calories a day thing or less....and see how it goes from there..

Thanks dvdjunkie..I know you are a true friend....because you told me about my weight instead of ignoring it and posting Great Job on Leno..that shows to me what a great guy you are...and that even though you risked me saying something like I'll lose weight when I want...but I didn't because I know you are truly concerned...and that makes you a good friend to your fellow forum member

Btw...I weighed the other day on a huge scale. 455 pounds and I am only 21 and will be 22 in March...so you have a right to be concerned about me....honestly I am concerned about myself too

To be honest, I was surprised to see how overweight you were. But didn't want to mention it because...

1. This is about your appearance on Leno, not about your health issues

2. I don't know you well enough to comment on weight issues

I say this because in the past I've encountered people who take their weight issues VERY lightly, and even the mention of it makes them depressed quickly. So I didn't want to look like a jer k.

But yeah, you should look into it. You being that young and that overweight is very concerning.

I know tips are the last thing you want now, but these help me:

1). When you're hungry, chew gum. Sugarfree at that. It keeps your mouth active, and has little calories.

2). I LOVE taking walks with my dog. If I get tired, she distracts me and keeps pulling me along. I highly suggest this.

Good look on your diet!!!!! :)

Good luck on your diet. I need to get motivated on one myself, but I applaud you not wanting the surgery.

The surgeries seem to be thrown out a lot lately, because of the successes of people on TV. Its a major surgery, and in my opinion should be avoided if you can loose the weight on your own. A lot of times the doctors actually want to see if you can loose the weight before you go though it. Plus your right there are a lot of different people you go see before its done. I don't want to seem like a broken record, but its major and its taken too lightly here lately.

Anyway good luck disneyboy20022, and thanks for sharing your Tonight Show appearance. :)

Eat an apple 30 minutes before each meal. Apples have natural appetite suppressants and are really good for you.

I've seen this vid a bunch of times before and gotta say I'm amazed if not a wee bit grossed out every time. :P Ed seemed almost confused. Good job, anyway and good luck with your weight loss.

Disneyboy's Jay Leno Performance

Post by Disney Duster »

WOW. I really wondered how you did it, and then I saw. Seriously it's just amazing you made the feat of taking something like that off without taking off anything else!

I liked the sexy "taking off clothes" music!

I thought it was cool, and it reminded me of when Mr. Bean took off his pants that were underneath his swimming trunks. ;)

The music, I think, is a few bars from "Night Train" by Marvin Berry and the Starlighters. Never mind the sounds of the shoes hitting the floor in the video (though it does make a good beat). The dancing in it is awesome too. :D I wish my town had open air swing dancing!
