Man has a dream
And that's the start
He follows his dream
With mind and heart
And when it becomes a reality
It's a dream come true
For you and me!

Heidi’s Heading Back to The Sea! - Update

Only this time she’ll be rocking the tentacles instead of the blue unitard!

Tonight at 92Y Tribeca, Heidi announced that she will be taking over the role of Ursula when Sherie Rene Scott leaves The Little Mermaid in late January!

Heidi announced today (11/6) via her Facebook that she will be performing in the role from January 27th until April 5th!

Keep your eyes peeled for more updates! There’s lots of fun [tos]sy things coming down the pipes and we’ll be sure to keep you all posted!

I noticed she left, but how long ago did she leave?

And I can't believe Sheri's leaving! :(

Awwww No Sheries leaving, :( she is by far the best part *sobs* as much as this news saddens me, how come the new one is only doing it for 4 months? Is Sherie leaving earlier than planned, hence Heidi is playing the role fior what would have been the rest of the contract? It just seems odd to only sign on for such a short period....maybe it's just me....anywhos good luck to her. She certainly has big ol' fins to fill!!!!
Did I use some black magic?
Well oopsie - my bad!
Did I mutilate, maim and destroy
Just A tad!

I still think Queen Latifah should play Ursula. I'd see the show just to see her in that role.

I wonder if Sean Palmer is still playing Eric. The site says he is, but there were people saying it was someone else.

I just bought tickets to go see The Little Mermaid for the third time! This will be my first time seeing it as an officially opened show (because I saw it twice on Broadway when it was still in previews).

I'm also going to see Mary Poppins for the first time!

I figured I'd post it here, but Disney on Broadway is doing a pretty awesome sale. You have to buy one full-priced orchestra or front mezzanine seat for $130.00, then they match that ticket for free, and every ticket after that in your group gets 50% off. So if you go with friends, like I am, you end up paying about $69 each for really nice seats.

Go to www.disneykidsgofree.com for details. It says you have to have an adult and kid or whatever, but pay no attention to that; all you have to do is pay for one full-priced ticket using the code "KIDS" on Ticketmaster, and you get the discount.

I've thought that since the beginning. :)

Oooh...I never thought of that before.

Latifah would have the body AND the voice that would give the character of Ursula justice.

Did she do some Broadway shows? I know she did the movie version of "Chicago".
