...Retailer Gamestop recently cancelled all pre-orders for every version of the game, offering customers a full refund or transfer to a different pre-order. The game is in fact no longer on their website or their list of upcoming games at all. It was scheduled to come out Halloween 2008, but had been reported as delayed to 2009 shortly after the merger....

I was really Looking forward to this game....well my Wallet wasn't but I was...

Well I still hope they plan to release The Real Ghostbusters Complete series via timelife...I plan to get my order in in October (because I am broke right now)

In other Ghostbuster News....apparently Ghostbusters 3 (the Movie) is in the works...

I had heard for awhile that this game would probably end up getting delayed. I wonder for how long.

Hopefully it doesn't become another Duke Nukem Forever.

When I was at San Diego Comic-Con there was supposed to be a panel discussing the Ghostbusters video games, but it was cancelled at the last minute. I then read that Activision (which is publishing the game) announced that only five franchises would be released through Activision and Ghostbusters was not one of them. Don't worry, the game is not cancelled. According to the Activision website, the game is set for release on October 31, 2008.

Okay It Appears according to Gamestop.com it is coming out to multi-platforms roughly around June 16th 2009 and it says the Publisher is Atari...
