The Foo Fighters disc is pretty awesome. It has both DTS and Dobly. I don't know. I'm no expert - the DTS sounds cleaner, but the Dolby has a closer approximation of that muddy bass sound you only get live. Anyways, my girlfriend bought that for me about a month ago (for Valentine's!), and we watched it a few weekends ago. Dinosaur is a great DVD, and Edward Scissorhands is just great
Good choices there...
I should have a whole lot arriving this week...just wish they'd hurry up!
Just got a very nice copy of City Lights from Columbia House, courtesy of the great "Chaplin Collection" branch of Warner Brothers Two-Disc Special Editions.
What would this wretched world be like without Disney?
Last night I picked up Ginger Snaps for AU$9.95 (about $7 US), and today I got the very nifty Jason X disc, in anticipation of my Freddy v Jason arriving, and the upcoming 'Friday' boxset (no date set).
lets see ,
Tarzan
Hercules Limited
Spirited Away and KIKI <~~(never seen cant wait)
Titan AE for 5.50 at WallyWorld
The addiction continues..............
Jules: You know the shows on TV?
Vincent: I don't watch TV.
Jules: Yeah, but, you are aware that there's an invention called television, and on this invention they show shows, right?

Cause if you are, "When I grow up I wanna be a librarian ... and an artist ... and a vet. vet. vegernarian!"
Believe me - the incoming $$$ bears no relation to the amount going out In fact, I might have to build a house out of these DVDs because I will have to live in them one day.
Much to my shame, our Cat in the Hat arrived today.
[hangs head]
Update: Oh dear. I've had a sneak preview of the disc, and I must say I love the read and white altered Studio logos at the start. The Dreamworks one is fantastic. I hope I'm not going to like this movie!
I've just been shopping and bought this month's Total DVD magazine which has a free DVD with two (yes two) full-length movies on it.
It has The Independent starring Jerry Stiller, Janeane Garofalo and Ben Stiller (so I'm sure its worth watching) and Air America - not the Mel Gibsom film - which doesn't (so I'm sure its not worth watching).
I got The Mask in my box of Frosted Flakes. Sure it's fullscreen and some parts are censored, but it was free and it'll do until I get a real copy of The Mask one day.
