For all you HSM fans who may also like a little funny on the side, tonight's South Park is going to parody HSM. It's called "Elementary High School Musical" and will air on Comedy Central (channel 107 on Dish Network).
"The boys realize they are no longer the coolest kids in school in an all-new episode of "South Park" titled, "Elementary School Musical" premiering on Wednesday, November 12 at 10:00 p.m. (ET/PT) on COMEDY CENTRAL.
Stan realizes he could lose Wendy if he doesn't get on board with the latest fad to hit South Park Elementary. Cartman would rather kill himself than succumb. But, when Stan, Kyle, Kenny and Cartman all realize that Butters is now more popular than they are, they have no choice but to give in to the peer pressure.
"South Park" repeats Wednesdays at 12:00 a.m., Thursdays at 10:00 p.m. and 12:00 a.m. and Sundays at 11:00 p.m. and 2:00 a.m. "

I propose we merge this thread with my own and Fellow Forum Members can post what parodys/spoofs of High School Musical they can find all in one easy thread
http://www.ultimatedisney.com/forum/vie ... hp?t=23769
But perhaps keep the title of the thread.. High School Musical Parody finds online or something to that effect

if you're interested. Mind you this might be one of the tamest episodes of South Parks ever as far as language, but it's still South Park and they play some pretty offensive things for laughs. I warned you. Don't blame me.

Of course we've neglected the biggest British High School Musical parody*cough*I really mean rip off *cough*, Britannia High!
That was a good episode. I considered it to be an affectionate parody...one that doesnt make fun of or insult the franchise but rather shows how confused Matt & Trey are over the fact that it's so popular with kids.
The songs they wrote for the episode sound so much like songs from the actual movies. I love the "abusive" slap happy father of the Zac Efron copycat. LOL
