I voted for Barack Obama and here is why, (oh and btw this is my first Presidential election that I was able to vote in...
#1 Reason - Mcain's Health care plan sucks....I mean Mcain would give you a $5000 tax credit for health insurance every year and he would tax that 5K ....One Problem with that is....Health Insurance cost more than $5000 a for the typical family...I know I am on my dad's plan and on Disability and it costs $900 a month and the employer only pays $150 of that so we pay $750 a month plus copays for medicine although because I am disabled or something I get medicine usually after May for free before May it is about $2.50 per prescription
#2 People making more than $200,000 or $250,000 are they only people that are going to see a tax increase....one example my family was eligible for that $1200 stimulus check...however our taxes for some reason was $1241 so guess where that Stimulus Check went
and we still owe $50 for the taxes
Someone has got chip in on decreasing the federal budget deficit I mean who would you rather tax...the person on Medicare or making $50,000 a year or the Family who is getting bonuses from Wall Street....In Reality somehow this deficit has to go down...one start is pull troops out of Iraq.....In My opinion the USA never should have invaded Iraq because Saddam was not the guy responsible for what happened on 9/11...Now I am not saying Saddam was a Great Leader and should be awarded a gold star....however we have yet to find Osama Bin Laden....and there were less terrorists in Iraq before we got there.....but the mission was to find "Weapons of Mass Destruction" not remove dictator Saddam Hussein...I mean it went fine but after Saddam was killed maybe before that....that's when things went south...especially because the "Weapons were not there" and that's all you heard on TV is the catch phrase "Weapons Of Mass Destruction" and Mcain wants to continue the war in Iraq....I realize that he was in Vietnam and was POW however that was then...it was a differ kind of war at a differ time....
#3 - Fun Fact - My Cousin who is in the Army said that in 25 -30 years there will be a President's Day that honors George W. Bush being one of the greatest president's of all time....no Joke that's what he said.....
And he is going to run for President in 2030 so says my cousin...although that's going to be hard to do because there is not Presidential Election in 2030...that would be 2032 not 2030 and keep in mind he is 30 now and is in the Army....
Although My other cousin who is in the Army use to take my sister's barbie dolls and GI Joes and bury them in the back yard at Grandma's house...which makes me wonder....How does 2 brothers who are my cousins get into the army when one thinks W Bush is the best president in History and wants to run for President in 2030 and one who likes to burry Gi Joes and Barbie dolls and burrys them...btw he also use to squish frogs with his shoes....
So...when's that Apocolypse happening?
One question if I had the chance to ask Mcain and Obama is similar to Tom Brokav's question...here it is my style.
One of you come November WILL be the President however one of you will go back to being a senator....How would you Support your Opponent as President while being in Congress...
