That's a lot of DVD's!
But you can never have too many...as long as they're not duplicates, that is!
I only have about seventy-five, but I have tons of video's that need to be replaced, but otherwise, seventy-five!

I have sixty-one. I think the average person here has around a hundred or so.

Well hey if you're having a space problem, you could always just send some of them over here. I've got plenty of room for them. Heh heh. :D

Number of DVDs

Post by wwwjim »

I'm taking a rough guess here, but I'd say about 300 total -- about 80 of which are Disney movies... That's what happens when you have two kids and don't get out to movies in theaters anymore!

Your ratings system is skewed, Sir SofaKing! I mean, how could you possibly rate Star Wars II above The Powerpuff Girls Movie? Shame, shame! :D
In all seriousness, though, I did love The Powerpuff Girls Movie. I just can't get enough of that Mojo Jojo . . . I guess I have a thing for primates. :P

The average regular poster here probably has quite a few. I've split off the posts where you list what movies you've seen and what DVDs you own, since that seems like another (Off-Topic) thread topic.

This may or may not belong in Polls and Games - let's see if discussion spurns! :)

And it's "The Bone Collector".

But that's because I'm new in the DVD field... I got my DVD player only 4 weeks ago

Wow, 236. Didn't know I had so many. But I must say I'm awfully proud, and its great fun displaying them on a very tall movie shelf bought from a video store that went out of business. :D

I have about 95. And 17 of them are animation, 13 of those being Disney animated classics. Of course, a lot of the 95 I have are TV collections (like 12 discs for Are You Being Served, the complete series; 8 for Keeping Up Appearances, and so on; but I have a lot of movies, too).

I'm not sure how many VHS and laserdiscs I have, but I have 1317 DVD's at the moment. Although I'm expecting around 10 more on Monday. For those of you interested, here's a link to my DVD collection: http://www.dvdprofiler.com/mc.asp?alias=Beastus
