thats a good thing..just not classic like..because of its contemporary setting. so princess and the frog will be the little mermaid.its a conspiracy. all of this.

I'm really excited for this film, the plot seems engaging, hopefuly the film is driven by character personality and heart. Me and a group of us are gon'na attend the midnight permire of Bolt. The animation is impressive and possibly can stand on it's own.

Not sure if this has posted or metion but Rhino is also a HSM fan *laughs* and here's proof

I saw HSM3 this weekend and saw that. Loved the cross promotion, good for Disney. I feel like Rhino the hamster has really come on as this breakout star in the movie, I'm sure he'll have plenty of hilarious lines through out.

Here's a short video for the Miley Cyrus & John Travolta song, "I Thought I Lost You":

I like it...I do miss the traditional Disney-type music, though, ya know, when the characters sing (or when Phil Collins sings for them). But I like it.

^wow, all the extra clips.... were so good!

I wasn't expecting such a sentimental element in this film... I hope I'm still surprised when I see the film!

The song's good. It does its purpose as a feel-good song and is fairy well sung.

Agreed! All the clips thus far have really just left me with goosebumps and have impressed me for sure. It's only a few more weeks til it's release which is pretty cool. I'm looking forward to finally getting to see the whole movie, the clips definitely did their job in helping build anticipation and wanting to see the film now.

Yay for the postive review! 8)

(Though Beck doesn't seem to be as mad about Bolt than he was with Kung Fu Panda).

Surprised to see a good review from him. Though, am I the only one that thinks he was being silly about the accuracy of sound? He complains about a scene which takes place outside and that the voices sound like they were recorded in a sound booth. He says that the voices should have been recorded outside.

First off, A LOT of films have scenes in the outdoors and they never record outside. It would be very hard to do (unless it has been done). I think what Mr. Beck should have said was that they should have remixed the audio so it sounds like they are outdoors.

But even he says its just a small nitpick.

Tell me about it. Although the song is decent. I want to see traditional Disney music again.

As for the 3D trailer, looks pretty good I guess. I might see this movie.

Yeah, my guess is they didn't mix enough ambient city sounds. it could also be that it needed to have the voices bounce off the buildings, its hard to describe but most people notice when its gone, even if they don't know why it sounds off.

I'll have a better opinion once Ive seen it. that complaint could be completly baseless for all I know.

If you see the scene please let us know. I just find his complain weird. I understand what he is trying to say, but his suggestion to record outdoors is silly.

Great read... He really had some good things to say about the first 15 minutes, I'm really looking forward to seeing the beginning now.

I watched this live on TV this morning- here's Miley Cyrus singing "I Thought I Lost You" (from the Bolt soundtrack) on Good Morning America:

I like the song, but it's not DAC-ish to me yet.

Ha I thought we were going to get a surprise jump in there from John Travolta. I think it's a great song, and really look forward to seeing it in the movie, it seems like it will fit perfectly.

Neal, I liked looking at your website- thanks for the link!

Today there are sneak peeks of Bolt, so check your local movie theater to see if it's playing today!!!

There's a sneak peek at the Downtown Disney theater here at 7pm, but it's about $12 (it's in Disney Digital 3D), and I'm not sure if I have enough money. So I don't think I'll be seeing it today, but I'm not sure...I don't know what to do!!!

Are we still comparing Disney animated films to the infallible Pixar?
An "Incredible Journey" or "Homeward Bound" updated for the superhero era, "Bolt" is an OK Disney animated entry enhanced by nifty 3-D projection. The first inhouse feature from Disney Animation since Pixar guru John Lasseter took over the studio's creative reins, this tale of a canine forced to overcome his superdog complex and learn to become a regular pooch bears some telltale signs of Pixar's trademark smarts, but still looks like a mutt compared to the younger company's customary purebreds.

Ugh!
