Ichabod's big clearout (Stage 1)

Post by ichabod »

Well I've been digging in the attic and Ichabod the hoarder can be a hoarder no longer.

So I've gone eBay crazy. I'm starting off slow and tearing away from my collection of random Disney accumulations slowly, so Stage 2 will probably follow soon.

Anyway take a peak, there's a large variety of junk, but mostly Disney.

I won't list every item here individually, but to give you a hint there's lots of Disney beanies and plushes some brand new with tags attached, some quite rare or promo ones in there. (I'll save the rarer stuff for stage 2 if I have too ;))

Also one item which may intrigue some is the rare 80s VHS of Make Mine Music which is uncut and features the Martins and Coys segment. There's also a 2 Disc SE of Lilo and Stitch. both PAL

It's mostly junk but take a look you might find something you've always wanted. I'm happy to ship all over the world.

If some of your plushes don't sell, I will be happy to buy them in a couple weeks when I have money.

Hmm. Anything on that that's not on the DVD?

I'll have a look later at exactly what's on it because I haven't watched it once since I originally acquired it.

What I can say in the meantime is that the VHS was given out as a promotional item before the release of Monsters INC in theatres, so doesn't directly contain any of the same bonus features as the DVD, although potentially there may be some crossover of material.

Let's hope I can provide you with a more detailed description later.

In answer to your question, the Monsters Inc VHS starts with the a trailer. Then there is an interview with Sulley and Mike in which they explain how the doors work with an off screen interviewer. This short ends with Mike saying the security code at which point the guys in yellow biohazard suits descend and carry him off.

Following this is what appears to be a 30 min US TV special titled "Monsters, Inc Behind the Screams" which features intereviews with Goodman, Crystal and other cast members, Some yak from Docter and Lasseter, Schumacher, Newman. It features a look at recording sessions of dialogue and the song "If i didn't have you". It also features a look at the recording of the voice for Boo.

So that stuff wasn't on the region 1 DVD? (And I take it the tape is PAL?)

How much would it cost to ship it to America? (though if it's a PAL VHS, I might need it sent to a friend of mine in Poland who has a PAL VCR and DVD recorder, so I can actually play it)

Since I don't have the Region 1 DVD, I couldn't tell you.

Hi ichabod, I just had to dig up my old account to post!

Very nice selection you have there. I'm interested in two, possibly three items. All of which have yet to have bids. The thing is, I don't have an eBay account, or for that matter a Paypal account. I find them too confusing and I'm generally hesitant on on-line shopping. Whenever I can't find anything in "real life", I rely on Amazon. Very easy and take regular credit cards, something I wish eBay did. And more often than not, they have everything eBay has, expect in this situation.

Anywho, before I bore you, I'm just wondering if we could perhaps work something out in private? If not, I completely understand. :)

Well I'm not sure if any of the stuff you were after sold or not, but if it didn't email me and tell me what you want.

Same with anyone else. If there's anything I didn't sell you have your eye on let me know.

If you don't use Paypal or are outside the UK or anything else perhaps we can work something out, maybe do a trade, of course it's all dependent on where you are and what you're after.
