Interesting. We're going to WDW in September. When in September are you going? How long is your flight? We're leaving on September 15 and our flight is 7:20 from Vancouver, BC to Orlando , FL.blackcauldron85 wrote:It's official! We're going to Disneyland in September! We have a hotel- the Fairfield Inn Disneyland, right across the street from Disneyland, $89 a night.
The cheapest plane tickets we found were $530 total, round trip, which includes both of us. Bobby wants to know if we should hold out for a better price.
Prince Charming 12, your idea of getting a Triple A travel brochure is a good idea I might look into doing that- is it free?
I'll look into the links that you provided more seriously now, and I may purchase the Burnbaum (sp?) Disneyland 2008 book. I'm excited, but I'm going to miss our doggies (we'll have friends take care of them).
We'll be going for a week. We're going to the San Diego Zoo (1 day), Disneyland (4 days), and Hollywood (1 day). I'd rather just do Disneyland and come home, but Bobby has a friend who lives in San Diego that he wants to see, and he wants to see Hollywood.
I may be going to Disneyland---have questions, need help!

TRIPLE A TRAVEL
Yes it is free. It is their version of a vacation planner that list prices for hotels, DDP, park tickets, and other activities, etc. Just ask a travel agent for one, if you don't see any on the shelves. I would also ask the agent to price out a package for you and do a little comparative shopping to what you already have. I have found them to be competitive verses other travel agancies and on-line booking sites. Check it out! Also, if you purchase your trip through them, they were giving me a free copy of Birnbaum's Walt Disney World book and they do offer it at a discounted price to members.blackcauldron85 wrote:It's official! Glad to read that you are able to go. Your updated post reminded me of my research last summer on Disneyland and now you have me thinking about it again!

We're going from the 13th to the 20th. We don't have a flight yet, but Bobby said that it'll be about 6 hours one way.Nala wrote:

Well, we arrived in California yesterday! We stayed the night at Bobby's friend's house in San Diego, and we're right now going to find a breakfast place and go to the San Diego Zoo, and then tonight we're more than likely going to Downtown Disney!!! YAY!!! Then tomorrow we're going to Disneyland, Tues. to California Adventure, Wednesday to Hollywood, Thurs. to California Adventure, & Fri. to Disneyland! We're flying out on Saturday!
We have our laptop, so I might even be able to upload pictures every so often while we're down here! Also, I won't be posting as much as usual, but hopefully I'll still be able to come on once a day!!!!

Well we're leaving for Florida tomorrow morning bright and early. It's over a 7-hour flight. I can hardly wait. We're going to have lunch with an astronaut on Saturday at the Kennedy Space Centre. We're going to be in Florida from September 15-28.

I'm in Orlando now and having a good time. It rained yesterday when we were at Animal Kingdom and we got wet so they cancelled the parade. The only other time it rained was when we landed on the 15th of September. I'm having a lot of pictures taken with characters. We had our picture taken with Prince Caspian as we met him. I'm also using a PhotoPass. Having a lot of fun.

That was the only day that it rained. We went on Toy Story Mania twice. Both times with fast passes. The first time we got a dream pass from the dream team. Toy Story Mania was one of the fast passes. Today we went in at 9:00am and by noon all the fast passes were gone. I also got the PhotoPass and am getting a lot of pictures with the Disney Characters. I met Prince Caspian. Ariel is still in Ariel's Grotto and I had my picture taken with her.blackcauldron85 wrote:That stinks about the rain, but I'm so glad you're having fun! We just got back from WDW and it was the best time of our lives. We saw all the parades and fireworks. Fantasmic and Illumination are fabulous. I taped both of them. We also saw Mickey's Jammin' Jungle Parade. I got over 32,000 points the second time on Toy Story Midway Mania. I also had my picture taken with Woody and Buzz Lightyear. I loved Splash Mountain. Swiss Family Treehouse was under refurbishment and was closed but a cast member said it would remain as the Swiss Family Treehouse. Country Bear Jambouree was also under refurbishment. We also saw the Dream Along With Mickey show. SpectroMagic and the Wishes Fireworks were also wonderful. We had a wonderful time.blackcauldron85 wrote:That's super-cool about the Dream FastPasses!!! I will but I have to download them first and I haven't gotten that done yet. Did anyone when they went to either DL or WDW meet both Lilo & Stitch together or just Stitch. Anyone else meet Koda or Prince Caspian?blackcauldron85 wrote:That stinks about the rain, but I'm so glad you're having fun! I hope you post some pictures when you come back!
