So I now have a Blu-Ray player. Well kinda, I had bought a laptop a week ago and it finally got here today and I discovered it has a Blu-Ray player/burner built in.

I still have no desire to start buying Blu-Ray discs anytime soon, since I don't particularly like watching movies on such a small screen, but I'm a step closer to converting now.

I'm still on the fence with converting to Blu-ray. I mean... first I have to get an HD-TV (and I wanna get a GOOD one! Right now I have a little over $2,000 in savings but I don't wanna just blow it all on a TV) and then get a Blu-ray player (although I'd most likely just get a PS3 for when Kingdom Hearts 3 comes out  :P ) and then I'd have to upgrade certain movies to Blu-ray (movies like Transformers, Star Wars, Lord of the Rings and maybe Indiana Jones and Pirates of the Caribbean would all get the upgrade, while movies like Napoleon Dynamite and Mrs. Doubtfire I wouldn't bother with).

Not to mention Blu-ray discs are more expensive than regular DVDs >_>

Some day I'll upgrade, but I don't see it being any time soon.
But the thing that makes Woody special, is he'll never give up on you... ever. He'll be there for you, no matter what.

Come December, studios and anyone else releasing movies on Blu-ray Disc will be required to offer consumers a backup copy of every Bluray disc they buy.
