Disney DVD news (everyone look at the main page)

Post by MickeyMouseboy »

hello i got news on a couple disney dvds!

first comes the long awaited release Sleeping beauty!

it will come in a collectible packaging opens like a book so consumers can see the complete array of bonus features (ala beauty and the beast)

it will come with a all new video of once upon (another) dream performed by pop sensation no secrets which did not appear in the press release too good to be true! lol

marketing wise is suposed to be as huge as beauty and the beast, mc donald toys and available for a limited time only! suppose to be disney's most requested tittle!

now we move to the next tittle Stitch! the movie

bonus features include:

-dr hamsterviel's trivia challenge for trivia earthlings
-Alien experiment gallery
-Experiment Finder-help jumba locate hidden experiments
-"aloha, e komo mai" music video performed by pop sensation jump 5

free "alien experiment guide" mini-poster with every DVD and Video!

marketing wise include a hawaiian sweepstakes nation wide plus a advertisement that will reach 95% of core target. also this dvd will be available in Spanish.

no we move to kim possible: secret files.

this unworthy set of only 3 episodes!!!!!!! only 3?!!! will include a never aired episode! nothing stated about the extras if any!?

and to wrap things up disney will release the following halloween tittle on video and Disney DVD:

-Rollie pollie ollie: a spooky ookie halloween
-Book of Pooh: Just say BOO!
-Out of the Box: Trick or Treat!

Appreciate the info, MMB.

I have to say though, I'm getting a bit tired of all of these Pooh Holiday releases.

What's next, Pooh and the Columbus Day Parade ??

I'm a bit confused. I thought Beauty and the Beast came in an Amaray Case with a paper covering? If anyone has any pictures of the collectible packaging for Beauty and the Beast, let me know. Thanks.

Can't wait for Sleeping Beauty! Don't have it on VHS, so it'll be nice to see it after all these years. And we get Mickey D's toys too. I don't know about everyone else, but when Disney toys come to McDonald's, I'm there every week to pick up the new ones.

The front of the cardboard slip cover for batb opened up like a book, had a little velcro thing to hold it shut. Much like boxes for many computer games.

Maybe I'm not sure what an amaray case is, but I thought batb was not and snow white was.

all dvds come with amaray cases except warner brother titles and other cheap ones. but that's not the case. beauty and the beast came in a Slim amaray case with a card board sleeve. and snow white came in a alpha amaray case :)

Snow White was a Double Alpha, just like the Vault Disney titles.

I normally don't collect the McDonald's toys although some look really cool. I wanted some of those Nemo fish, but they all seem to be sold out everywhere. I wanted the Nemo and Dori that made sounds. Hrumph!

Wouldn't mind! I'd buy that too (big surprise  )! Hee hee hee
And we don't even celebrate Columbus Day down here (hard to believe, I know!).

Actually, haven't bought any of the Book of Pooh stuff. I like it, but prefer the animation. Have to pick up Frankenpooh I guess....

And the Stitch! one of course (with bonus exclamation mark!). I have no idea who Jump 5 are, but I'm told they are pop sensations and they are on everything Disney puts out (almost). Why can't they get Radiohead or Interpol? Mind you, I'd never listen to either band again if they sold out and did a song for an evil multinational conglomerate.
You know, one that ISN'T their record label...

Thanks MMB.
I was vaguely aware that it was there, just never bothered looking at it.
Will have to now if they are "sensational"!
