That last part is what almost killed off my excitement for the film when I found out about it, and heard how it went.

Still planning to see it in a few days, hopefully its better than what I keep reading. I think UD has had the most people like the movie of any forum I've visited lately.

WTF did you smoked Spielberg?!
But how is that any weirder than a zombie Indy trying to sacrifice Willie into a lava pit conveniently located beneath an altar after Mola Ram ripped the still beating heart out of a guy's chest? The refrigerator, I will concur with to a point, but it was an effective way of saying "This movie is fun and silly and won't make logical sense, so go with it."
"Ta ta ta taaaa! Look at me... I'm a snowman! I'm gonna go stand on someone's lawn if I don't get something to do around here pretty soon!"

Hey, after all that screaming and shreiking, I'd sacrifice Willie into a lava pit conveniently located beneath an alter... regardless of if I was zombiefied or not!

As the the still beating heart ripping, it's all in the wrist action, don't ya know?
Most of my Blu-ray collection some of my UK discs aren't on their database

The refrigerator was made of lead, when Indy gets in it there is a sign on it, Indy should have been a little more injured after the ride in it but it kind of makes sense why he survived

Well, I can't disagree with you there... that would have improved the movie immeasurably.

I've seen the movie four times (LOVED it), am I the only one who loves the fridge scene? Yes, it's rediculous and, obviously, very unrealistic but it is one of the funniest damn gags I've seen in a movie this year.

The part I really find too hokey is when Mutt is vine-swinging with the little monkeys during the Jungle Chase sequence. It adds a touch of ham and cheese to an otherwise fast-paced, very fun scene.

Review: Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull - is brilliant. Recommended to any one who loves the original and Harrison Ford is still as sprightly as ever!!

Yeah I thought the new Indiana Jones was great!

Although I was a little put-off by the CGI... but that's a complaint I have with nearly all movies, not just Indy.
But the thing that makes Woody special, is he'll never give up on you... ever. He'll be there for you, no matter what.

I'll pickup the DVD for this one. Hopefully Blu-rays of the other movies are on the way.

I wonder if there is any difference in this Adventure Collection and the one released a few months ago.

I'll be there bright and early for the 2-disc, unless I have Blu-Ray player by then, but doubtful.

I missed this in theatres, so I'll have to rent it to know if I like it enough to buy it.

I'll probably get the 2-Disc Collector's Edition when it comes out. I still don't have the original 3 films on DVD, but my guess is that they will be on sale the week Crystal Skull comes out. I know they were all on sale the week it hit theaters, but I didn't have the money at that point.

That makes me wonder if they'd put the very expensive Young Indiana Jones sets on sale. Not that they aren't worth their high price, but they're tough to afford. I only have the first one so far. Still, I don't know if I can wait that long to get the others. Then again, I guess it's really almost October...

I plan on buying the DVD tomorrow even though I missed it in theaters. I do not care how much people say this movie sucks.

I saw the movie a few weeks ago and I thought it was okay. Not as bad as most people made it out to be. Some scenes were ridiculous and they could have toned it down a bit on the CGI. I'd give it a 3 out of 5.
