On the DVD the season premiere is edited.
The joke about getting the diploma from the Philippines is out.
The scene used to go:
"OK, before we go any further, can I check these diplomas? Just to make sure they aren't, like, from some med school in the Philippines?"
Now it stops at "JUST TO MAKE SURE THEY AREN'T LIKE..."
I know ABC said they MAY edit the episode in future airing and it doesn't bug me too much just that it was not a big deal and editing it supports people who are too PC and can't take a joke.

How stupid. Couldn't they have at least filled in that line with something instead of stopping at "like...." 
I'm sure there are things in every storyline that's existed on the show that's offended someone, but that's no reason to censor it. I thought the show became popular in the first place because it was somewhat outrageous (or, rather, brutally honest).
