Thanks. I only have one Giselle item, besides the standard DVD, and that's a poster:Ariel'sprince wrote:Those WALL-E figures are really cute,slave2moonlightalso do you have any Giselle item?.

Enchanted has actually been one of my top favorite films since I first saw it. Unfortunately, it's the only Enchanted/Giselle item I've found that wasn't so extremely for girls, though I wouldn't mind picking up a few of the fashion dolls, but I just don't have the space for that sort of thing really and am trying to upgrade my collection more to statuettes and things of that nature, even if they're vinyl, which I'd almost prefer if they were well done enough. I definitely want to get the soundtrack and the Blu-Ray at least. The chipmunk beanie wouldn't be too bad either, though I'm also trying to cut down on my plush purchases. About to post a ton of plush stuff in the trade section to try and sell when I have the time to take pictures of them in the next few weeks.

Quick question here about a future "other item" purchase, if anyone can help out. I am planning on getting a DVD recorder/VHS combo, hoping to transfer my VHS stuff to DVD, but also to use as a DVD player for my bedroom. I wanted to get a Sony, but the thing is, I have a 50 dollar gift card for Conn's, but their selection is so small and they only have a Toshiba. Anyone know anything about that brand and how it compares to others? Would love some advice. I also want to get a PS2, but I haven't saved enough to get both yet and the recorder thing is cheaper so I can definitely afford that one. Plus, they don't have Playstation 3's at Conn's except in some big package deal for 600, which is more than I can afford.

At the moment, besides the DVD and the soundtrack album, the only bits of Giselle merch I've got are the Mattel dolls (which are a part of my ever-growing Barbie doll collection):Ariel'sprince wrote:

Oh,it's a great poster
Yeah,I want some Giselle merchandise too,I love her the best in her pink dress animated,I was thinking if maybe trying to buy a doll or a plushie from Ebay but I don't know if plushies of human characters are good,I whould have bought the Simba Toys doll if they brought it here (And the Giselle in pink dress one comes with little figures of Pip,the bunny and the mouse I think).
Now I"m looking for items of Aurora,Pocahontas,Mulan and Giselle Since I think that I have too many Ariel,Cinderella and Jasmine stuff (Okay,I have 3 Jasmine stuff).
I"ll whould like to buy some TinkerBell stuff (Thoguht I already have a pen and a Pez of her,I might buy TinkerBell on DVD) and maybe Alice too.
Cordy_Biddle-Those dolls are pretty

Yeah, when I say most of the stuff of Giselle out there is mainly for little girls, that's what I mean. The only stuff I've seen worth getting are the plushes and the fashion dolls, and I've been trying to cut back on both in my collection. They all look good though. I have a lot of different things for the other princesses (even finally got something of Eilonwy), and since Tink and Ariel are my faves, I probably have more of them than anyone else. I am big on certain others though, like Eilonwy, Kim Possible, Cinderella, Belle, Giselle now, Jane from Tarzan (though I never liked her voice much, she's gorgeous), and Alice is very close behind my top two faves. Only reason she isn't tied with them is because she's so young. Still, I'd like to get more stuff with her. Though, I want to focus more on quality than quantity now, and I've even been getting rid of stuff lately so I can do just that. I have a really nice fashion doll of Alice, by the way, and some various ones of Ariel, Tink, and Belle. I have a bendable plush of Kim Possible in her gear and a bobble of her in her cheerleading outfit, among other stuff, and Cinderella, Belle, and especially Tink and Ariel I have tons of stuff of. Of course, I've stuff of the other Disney girls too, like Jasmine and so on. Giselle has been really tough though.

Oh,it's sad to see those things
thought she didn't got as much as merchandise as Ariel and Cinderella got and Aurora is getting now.
I think you should buy something of Giselle,I whould buy one of the dolls that Cordy_Biddle posted.
Well,I whould buy at least one figure of a character unless it's a favorite character (Like Ariel or Giselle).
I started to also collect Fairies and TinkerBell stuff too and I don't have any figure of Giselle,Pocahontas and Mulan (At least I have Giselle's DVD and DS game but I don't have anything of Pocahontas and Mulan,I saw a Simba Toys doll of Pocahontas but she didn't looked like her,it reminds me of a horrible Cinderella of them I have seen ones-It had one with blue and pink dress but it's a doll with a skirt and the top is like Tiana's dress and she had a very different hairstyle, without the Cindy clipart on the box I whouldn't realize it's supposed to be her),when the Princess And The Frog will be released I"ll look for something of Tiana.
Do you have anything of Aurora? and what Alice and Eilonwy (I can't believe you found something of her!) things do you have?.
Yeah,I think quality is more importent then quantity, unless it's a favorite character so it's okay.
Anyway I do hope they have Giselle plushies or dolls.
How's this plushie?:

I assume that is the Giselle plushie they usually have in the stores, though it looks better in person to me, ha, if it's the same one. Yeah, those plushes are pretty nice. They have them of several characters (or, have had them) and I have wanted some, but I just don't have the space right now and don't know if I want more plushies even when I do have the space. I think I'd rather have things more along the line of Walt Disney Classic Collection statuettes, or maquettes, or stuff like that.
Of Eilonwy I recently bought (from Ebay) a statuette of her with Taran and Gurgi. It's not classic collection quality, but it's still pretty nice. You can often find it on Ebay just by searching "Black Cauldron". I do have some Aurora stuff too. I have a statuette of her that I bought at a Disney Store in London, and I have a miniature snowglobe of her. I also have a little plastic figurine of her that came with a spinning wheel which was from McDonald's a long time ago. I can't remember if I have anything else besides the movie. I do have some other items from the film though, like a beanie of Maleficent and one of her as a dragon, and other toys from that McDonald's collection. Oh, I also have a really nice, large, vinyl bank of Aurora from DisneyWorld! I forgot about that! Have a matching one of Cinderella too. Of Alice, I have a really nice Fashion doll, still in the box, a beanie, a small plastic figure, a figure from McDonald's, and possibly some other stuff, plus I have items of other characters. My mom has all the Alice in Wonderland beanies I think.
Something else I collect are Hallmark Christmas ornaments, so I should probably check if they've done or will do a Giselle ornament this year, and that's something to watch for when Tiana's movie comes out too, because I anticipate Disney Store focusing on the little girl items again for that one. They have hardly done anything for older collectors lately except pins and snowglobes. The snowglobes are too pricey, I am out of shelf space for now, and the worst part is they lose their water, which is making me not want to buy them anymore, though I still hope to get the awesome Pete's Dragon one someday, and maybe that Ariel Under the Sea one. But that water-loss issue is pushing me more towards just plain statuettes and maquettes and even better, vinyl figures (which wouldn't break so easily, ha, but they don't look quite as sophisticated). For Pocahontas I have action figures and PVCs and/or McDonald's toys, which I tend to have for most Disney girls. That's what I have for Mulan too. Cinderella, I have a nice musical statuette from Disney World that was rather pricey I believe, and PVCs (which are small plastic figures), McDonald's toys, a mini snowglobe, and probably other stuff.
I have something to represent almost every Disney animated feature on display and tons of other stuff stored away. There are a few that I want to get better stuff of though, and a few I don't have anything of, like Fun and Fancy Free, unless I want to cound any Jiminy Cricket items, ha. Same with the other package films. I badly want that Slue Foot Sue Walt Disney Classics Collection statuette.
I want some items for the Fairies collection too. Particularly the set of PVCs from the Disney Store that they used to have (I think it's different from the current one), and I have seen some dolls from the Fairies collection that are gorgeous, but I forget if I saw them at the Disney Store or at other stores. I do at least want to get the small figures they currently have at the Disney Store in 2-packs, if only to get one really cute TinkerBell action figure. Something else I want to get that they recently had there was the set of figures of Ariel and all her sisters in a very stylized, curvy design.
My real goal with my collection lately though, has been to cut it down to just one item, or just a very few of the best items, to represent any single character. Like, why have 10 different items of Pocahontas? All I need is one gorgeous display item. I don't know if I'll ever get to that point though, but I'm working on it. I doubt I'll ever do that with Ariel or Tink though, and a few other favorites, ha. But it certainly helps with money and space to start focusing on quality over quantity.

Just picked these up! I didn't know they were out already! So cool! They're the first of the Indy action figures I've bought (though I have a couple of old ones from Disney World and one from way back in the '80's, but these are much better). I'm a huge Indy fan, but I was waiting for someone to drop the price, because the 7-8 dollar cost of small action figures right now is ridiculous! The Indy figs are only 5.50 at Wal-Mart now though, which is much more reasonable. I was also sorta waiting for them to inspire me with some figures from Last Crusade and Temple (apparently, 6 Temple figs ARE coming soon, woohoo! ). As you can see here, I picked up Indy's Dad, Young Indy, and Indy from Crystal Skull. The one from Last Crusade had a neck tie on, but I'll get him later. I was going to get Shia Labeuf (sp?) too, but I wanted the one with the leather jacket on, and they didn't have any. They also didn't have Elsa from Last Crusade, but she is supposed to be out now. I do want to get some of the Raiders figures too, and the set that includes the Ark. Plus, when I buy three more figures, I can send away for a figure of one of the aliens from Crystal Skull!

Oh, also, at Target they have the Clone Wars figures now of Anakin's Padawan (forget her name) with the baby Hutt. I want that one and an Anakin to go with it! They are too expensive at Target though. I'll wait for Wal-Mart to get them.

The Eilonway statue sounds nice
Well,of Aurora I only have a cellphone panel and a figure on a swing and of course I"ll get her film's Platinum Edition soon,I might another merchandise of the PE (Espically since it seems that there won't be a video game and I was sure that she"ll have a DS game based on her film),I really want her Smarties,I wanted to buy a notebook but they didn't had anything, the new notebook were only Jeweled her,Snow and Belle and Jeweled Cinderella alone, that's all (I already have a Cinderella notebook).
I think there is a Giselle orament but she's in her wedding dress,I"ll look for something of Tiana when The Princess And The Frog will be released.
I also want some Fairies stuff, maybe things of Rosetta and Silvermist because I like them the best for now after Tink,I think that TinkerBell is now my favorite Disney character who isn't a Disney Princess.
Those Ariel and Her Sisters merchandise looks neat
Unless it's a favorite character,I also think that the quality is more importent then quanity,I actually don't have much things like figures,I sometimes buy some merchandise like that,I mostly buy video games (Just DS ones,I have PS2 ones in... different.. ways) and DVDs if it's a favorite movie.

Actually, I bought this last weekend, but didn't have the time to post it here till now. I am enjoying it though.

Magic Tree House #40: Eve of the Emperor Penguin by Mary Pope Osbourne, bought from Amazon.com, $9.99
Yeah, yeah I know. A book for first graders? But these books were the first to capture my imagination and I have a strong emotional bond with the series, so I still buy them.
