102 Dalmatians 2008 DVD release Question

Post by disneyboy20022 »

I have a question.......about 102 Dalmatians Being re -released this Tuesday....Is it the same dvd as previously release or are there new bonus features to justify re-buying 102 dalmatians other than a slipcover and DMR points?....I mean I am going to buy 101 Dalmatians (glen Close)because I never got a copy of the original Live Action DVD so this looks like my best bet....But will UD or someone else be doing a review...about 102 Dalmatians..

According to this, Luke's doing the review.

It'll likely be like the 101 Dalmatians re-release: nothing new except for the Sneak Peeks and cover art.

I wish there were some new bonus features (cast commentary, a more thorough documentary, etc.) but what we already get is pretty good: the trailer, a commentary, a few short but informative featurettes, deleted scene, music video (with audition footage, outtakes, and film clips), and a couple DVD-ROM features.

Escapay has it right. Looks like even the menus are recycled. These Dalmatians DVDs are about as lazy as re-releases get. At least Patch gets a new game. :o

If only I didn't accidentally buy the fullscreen way back when. I'm wondering if I should get these or wait for a Blu-Ray release. Any educated guesses on how long that might be? Since I don't even have 101 (live-action) yet, except on VHS.

First thanks to Escapay and Luke for confirming it..

and Slave2monnlight, I am in the same situation you are in....I accidentally Bought the fullscreen (at least I am pretty sure its fullscreen) of 102 Dalmatians....but I figure since it's going to be around I will wait for a price drop.....however since I don't own Live Action 101 Dalmatians (except of vhs, and I don't even have the box) I think I will get 101 but hold off on 102 until a price drop or a better release (blu ray or NEW dvd bonus Features other than a child's interactive game which even 102 or 101 doesn't get....)

Sorta off topic but at Least TLM II gets a deleted scene as a NEW bonus feature....
