I think a new release of Hercules is for certain coming in the near future, cause at the store I work, it was one of those titles that we'll have for a while, then when we sold it, we would have another copy sitting in our next shipment within a few days. But, I haven't seen it around in a while now, so looks like Disney's no longer sending it out. So, could that mean something, and actually, I was about to snap and buy it if I could find it, but I'll hold off. And hopefully in '09 Disney will start to acknowledge Blu-ray more with releases of titles like Hercules, Rescuers, etc. on blu the same day any new DVDs of those titles are released.

Well it seems like the Gold Classics Collections always come and go. I saw some at a local Wal-Mart store that I hadn't seen in years.

I know Hercules is available on iTunes... I wonder if the quality (if you use AppleTV or something) is better than the DVD. If it is, I can buy and decrypt and make my own DVD... But unfortunately I can't get anything in "HD" since I wasn't willing to pay $100 for a little box that just promotes DRM.

I would like to see a Special Edition of "The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad" that includes the one-hour TV version of "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow" hosted by Walt, which added a great "Story of Washington Irving" lead-in that was created just for TV.

I'm pretty sure Wall-E does fill that spot. Don't forget that TLM2 comes out the second week of December. The slate right before christmas this year is actually kinda full. I'm really interested to see what the late January/early February release is going to be.

I thought she meant any DVD but WALL-E doesn't count (Because it's a Pixar movie and it's not a re-release).

I'm sure that if there was going to be another one we would've heard about it by now, so I was just guessing that you were right in saying Wall-E.
