well i dont think disney aimed at a pg-13 i think there was no way around getting a G for a pirate movie that is suppose to attract all ages. unless it was a kiddie fare and not a action movie! so im glad they got pg-13 as long as this doesnt start been a trend is nice to see a pg-13 disney movie every once in a while. and i think this movie will bring some big bucks.

I don't think this is a trend - they're still the family film studio - but an occasional PG-13 action blockbuster isn't a bad idea. The way things are going now it should bring in big money. The only other movies in the Disney pipeline right now that I can see getting PG-13s are Haunted Mansion and Pirates II as well as any other future sequels. Otherwise I think it's not a trend and we're fine.

Yes! I usually give recent live action Disney a miss, but this one I'm looking forward to (can't beat a good pirate yarn).
