The Sopranos Season 5 Opener

Post by The Lizard King »

Did anyone watch this episode tonight? I'm wondering if I should resubscribe to HBO just to watch the new season.

Watched it...and hell yeah you need to get HBO.
Even after the long delay this show just gets better and better. Lots of conflicts'a'coming.

Considering that there were only two episodes from Season 4 worth watching, I was worried that the show had jumped the shark.

I heard that Bobby Baccala (Uncle Junior's bodyguard) shed some weight.

It was great! My fav part was a violent hilarious scene involving a brick, a disgrunteled waiter and a gun that brought Christopher and Paulie back to being friends again. Besides we finally got to see Melfi's Boobies and I must say very nice! I also like that they have brought Steve Buchemi into the mix which will be great! I give the episode an A- or 9 out of 10!

It was great to see it back last night. The Paulie/Christopher/waiter scene was just classic. And why does Tony have a grenade in his house, I thought that was hysterical when I saw that.

i am watching the season finale of season 3 tonight. im going to try to finish season 4 in time to catch a rerun of the first episode of the 5th season. i love this show so so so much. i didn't read any of the above posts in fear of spoilers. i just got my new issue of fhm and it has jamie-lynn discala on the cover and i turned to a page called sopranos greatest hits where it was gonna show me everyone who had gotten whacked and how-i immediatly put it down. i need to catch up so i can talk to people about the sopranos. :D

Okay, I broke down and ordered HBO the other day and saw the season opener. It was pretty good.

I wonder what they are going to do with the story arc of Janice losing her wedding ring AND the hand grenade in the house?

I'm thinking hand grenade equals suicide or accidental death.

I think that it means nothing. If you have watched the show since the first season then you would know that Tony has always had illegal weapons in his house. I do not see why all of this focus is on the grenade, Melfi's boobs were much more stunning. It will have nothing to do with the rest of the season. But then again it is HBO and I could be eating my sour words very soon.

Well, a point was made to focus on that hand grenade. That's why I'm reading into it. Sure I'm probably wrong, but that's what I'm calling!

If you have digital cable you can watch it anytime. If not, don't worry HBO will run it aprox. 243 times before the end of the season.
