Desperate Housewives
I know this topic may be unexciting to some, but recently I've been getting into Desperate Housewives, which is currently being re-run over here in the UK. I would like to know which is your favourite Season and why? And, the same question again but this time for your least favourite season and why?

I definitely have to say Season 3 is my favorite season. Despite having that boring drop at the end (with the boring GabriellxVictor and CarlosxEdie crap), the mystery for this season was extremely well done. All the new characters were excellently cast (with Dixie Carter and Laurie Metcalfe really shining). Bree is also my favorite character and this was the second season in a row where she seemed to be in the spotlight. And Bang is easily my favorite episode of the series so far.
It's harder to choose my least favorite, though I guess it would have to be Season 4. Season 2 seems bad in my memories of when it was first run, but when I watched it altogether it was actually pretty good (although the Andrew storyline was a bit overdone). The reason I dislike season 4 is it always seems like you're expecting something interesting to happen that ends up never happening. It started off strong, with Katherine and Bree's rivalry, but slowly went downhill. Some episodes Katherine (and the newly introduced gay couple) would be there and then others, it would seem like "who were they again?" I don't know if the Writer's strike is partly to blame, but the second half of this season really bored me. There was no buildup and, as I've said elsewhere, the mystery definitely wasn't mysterious. The only thing exciting to happen here is the five year jump to next season, where everyone seems a little more interesting except for Bree and Susan (who never is). Also, I hate the fact that Delaney's staying around.

Listening to most often lately:
Taylor Swift ~ ~ "The Fate of Ophelia"
Taylor Swift ~ "Eldest Daughter"
Taylor Swift ~ "CANCELLED!"

Just the one link would have been fine thank you. You needn't to be so blatantly rude about it. I would have taken the hintPeterPanfan wrote:Click

If you weren't rude, you'd have posted the links like anyone else would have, minus the sarcastic little "click" comments. It was unnecessary and was your way of rubbing in the fact that I don't use the search tool. If you were that bothered by it, you should have just said "I'm afraid we already have several Desperate Housewife topics. May I suggest one of the following to links to you and to maybe think about using the search tool for future reference". That would of sat much better with me and I'd take on board the fact that I need to use the search tool more often, so that I don't create needless topics that already exist.PeterPanfan wrote:Uhm, I don't think I was being rude. I was helping you out by supplying the links, which you wouldn't have known about because you don't use the search tool.

Desperate housewives is my favourite show ever! (sex and the city and abfab draw at a close second)
If you've only just started watching I suggest go back to season one, which is the best season IMO. As far as I know they started repeating DH from season two which is my least favourite. Season four (the latest season) has been the best since the first - I loved it!
You picked a good show to get into. You obviously have taste!
p.s. I've posted many threads that have already existed by accident. The animosity you recieved was not necessary.

This is ridiculous. PeterPanFan did nothing wrong, Nick Bryant did nothing wrong. You are not supposed to double make threads, so PPF thought he'd help by pointing out some of the countless others on the topic. Nick Bryant, its OK that you created another thread, it happens, but we need people like PPF to inform that we do have a search option and to please use it before starting a new thread.
Can we just please get a admin or mod to merge the Desperate Housewives threads? Thanks.

I really ought to get the boxsets but I don't have enough money at the moment. The first season I'd watched of Desperate Housewives was the 2nd. After having missed the whole of the 1st season, I was told that I would definitely have to tune in for the next installment, which is exactly what I did. From then on I was a fan of the show and continued watching up until season 4, which is on hold at the moment and will return in the autumn. I've been watching the re-runs lately during the day and am enjoying it a lot more this time around, Channel 4 are currently playing series 3. I look forward to the final segment of series 4 and hope to get the majority of the boxsets for Christmas, if not allBeast_enchantment wrote:Desperate housewives is my favourite show ever! I just wish C4 hadn't stopped broadcasting this season half way through! All my friends keep bugging me "Tell me what happened! What happened to Katherine?!!!" blah blah lol
I bet you can't wait for christmas! lol
p.s. do you like Katherine? Even though she's abit of a Bree clone I just love her!
