I just read a small message in my newspaper that a Dutch musical about Joseph Merrick, also known as ' the elephant man' is in the making.
I could hardly believe what I've read. Because I've seen the amusing movie The Tall guy which poked fun at exactly the idea of making the life of Joseph Merrick into a musical. In The tall guy the musical is called "Elephant".
Any one else here seen the movie The tall guy, and how do you feel about the idea of making a musical about Joseph Merrick?
I know very serious subject have been used for musicals before, like the life of Eva Peron or the sinking of the Titanic... but this, I just don't know..I don't think I can get the satire of The tall guy out of my head.
