http://www.nydailynews.com/entertainmen ... es_ha.htmlAccording to Daily News, Matt Groening, creator of the popular television series The Simpsons, has revealed that there will be a second movie featuring the animated family. However, he also states that it might not hit the big screen for quite a while. “It will happen at some point, but I have no idea when. The first one took us four years - mainly because we don’t like to work any harder than we usually do.” Thanks to “gaastra” over at the Animated News & Views Forum for the tip!

I thought the movie was really good and though I have never been a big fan of the Simpsons I do enjoy Seasons 1-9, because it was a fantastic show back then. Now, not so much, but the movie was still funnier than anything in like Season 14-now.
So, if they really wanna make a sequel they should give themselves a lot of time to make a very good movie.

Didn't see the first movie, I think the television show has out-lived its welcome and it would be a waste of celluloid for a second movie in my opinion. But they will probably make it because there are stupid people out there who will pay hard-earned money to see it.

The only way to watch movies - Original Aspect Ratio!!!!

I also saw the movie so I can, you know, feel completely okay with giving my opinion, and I enjoyed it. It wasn't the greatest movie ever, but everyone at the theater I saw it with really enjoyed it. It wasn't "South Park: Bigger, Longer, and Uncut", but those shows are two different animals anyway, so it's kind of apples and oranges.
