Wow, thanks for that link, it certainly a VERY interesting thing to see. I am looking forward to this film with glee and dread. It could be promising, but Tiana?, has a lot to live up to. And from watching that clip it's looking good, but there's something off. I really like the look of her, she's less cartoony than before, but not totally realistic. She kind of reminds me of Lilo's older sister, mainly in the eyes. But I noticed something unsettling, she moves a little cartoony, mainly when she's puckering her lips, and her hands. I know she's a cartoon, but the princess should be one of the most realistic characters. I know that hands were a problem with Giselle, sometimes they were really huge and blocky, and I hope they get better in time. I understand that this is after a huge break in 2-d animation at the studio, but it just bothers me.
But thank you for posting it, this film could be really great.

AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!! I'm so beyond happy!!!! That's AWESOME!!! I had no idea that they had a trailer ready!!!!!!!!! YAY!!!!!!! I love it!!!!!!!

This makes my week!!!!!
And, I like the song. As much as I miss Alan Menken, the music will probably be great.

That was a really nice teaser. The animation, of course, looks beautiful, and I agree that Tiana does look a lot like Nani. She does have a lot to live up to, but I think she'll be just fine. She seems like a very spunky and logical sort of character, which sets her apart well from the other princesses.
Oh, and is this the first time (besides the Inter-Stitch-als) that a teaser trailer for a Disney animated feature contained exclusive animation? What we saw here obviously isn't going to be in the film, at least not in the exact way we saw it here. It seems like Disney is taking after Pixar. I wonder if Rapunzel's teaser will also be self-contained.

very nice. cant wait for the HD version to pop up.
I wouldnt be surprised if they allowed some things to be a bit off in this teaser if it will not be in the final film anyway.
oh hush you. the more realistic you try to make animation, the more stiff it becomes. also, I didn't see a problem with the hands. I agree about Giselle's hands often looking rushed, but these hands look fine to me. hands will always going to be a problem though, in stand alone drawings, or full animation, and even 3d animation, hands are hard to do. I expect them to take their time with it in this movie though, unlike Enchanted's animation which was done in mere weeks.aubreysilver wrote: I noticed something unsettling, she moves a little cartoony, mainly when she's puckering her lips, and her hands. What an adorable teaser! The frog is more than cute! And the animation is very pretty to look at. Tiana looks very nice and the animation is fluid, but I feel a little bit as if something is missing- I can't really say what it is, but there is some "magic" missing.
I do love Anika Noni Rose's voice, though, very sweet!

That's what I am wondering... Do you think that maybe it's only a work in progress page which was accidentally put up? i mean just a theory... But the trailers downloadable for ipod so i did that just in case. Seems a little fishy this wasn't shown though...Poody wrote:That was VERY cute! Loved it! Why the hell didn't they show this at comic-con?
this was no accident, believe me. they wouldnt let something like that slip unintentionally.

But why there's a website so early? they didn't even updated the Sleeping Beauty PE website and Bolt only now got a website,I don't think that even WALL-E got a website that early.

Wow. Got chills watching it - seriously. I have HIGH hopes now for this movie ~ I cannot wait.
I hope this movie returns the Disney name to the shape it was in for the fab four+ in the '90's.
