The Beverly Hillbillies Complete Season Two - October 7

Post by PrincePhillipFan »

Not sure if anybody else here on the board is a big classic television fan like me, but recently I heard that the complete season two of Beverly Hillbillies will finally be released on Oct 7. There have lots of public domain prints of all the first season episodes, and some from season two out on DVD, but now it looks like CBS is finally releasing an official boxset.

This has been known for some time but as of now they are not doing Season one because it's out. In The Beverly Hillbillies - Ultimate Collection, Vol. 1 and 2 as well as The Beverly Hillbillies/Petticoat Junction Ultimate Christmas Collection collected ALL of Season one as well as SOME of two. Thouse sets where official yet Fox just recently re-acquired Jed and his kin. So Fox is doing ALL of two which helps out some yet confuses others.

I wish they'd hurry up with Petticoat Junction. I've only seen Season One Volume One which was great with intros by Betty Jo herself Linda Kaye Henning! Sorry to veer off topic of the Hillbillies release!
