I heard about this yesterday and also saw her creative announcement on "The View". I wish it wasn't such a limited run, as there's pretty much no chance I'll get to see it. I'm very happy to see her career staying active again, though.

Smart move on Xanadu's part. I wish I could see this. Whoopi bantering with Mary Testa would be amazing.

I'm sure Whoopi will be great but Jackie Hoffman is HYSTERICAL in the role!

Whoopi has been a big supporter and fan of "Xanadu" for a while now, so it's great to have her as part of the cast while Jackie goes on the publicity trail. She's been away from Broadway for too long!

Can't say that I am a big Whoopi Goldberg fan. I think she has gone downhill in the past years. While I enjoyed the "Sister Act" movies, I just find lately she has gone totally to the dark side of life as a whole, and I think she is wasting her time on "The View". She has shown us her funny side, and her dramatic side, but I don't like her 'stupid' side on The View. I apologize but that is how she comes across, like a 'dumb-down' version of the Whoopi Goldberg that I used love and adore.
