Someday, I did like your video, it had soem great parts like when it cuts from Cinderella getting her dress to the staircase, with the music, it's really striking! And then like when they dance to the orchestral part, it's beautiful. And I liked matching the slow slipper fitting to his voice getting slower and softer. Where, by the way, did you find that version of Cinderella? It looks...more like it's supposed to, and in many ways better, than the restoration, and I've seen it in lots of Youtube videos.

Siren...now, I did like some of it but, well, that kind of music isn't usually my thing and I didn't like the song. I don't really see Sweeney as someone to feel sorry for because he's lonely in an attic, or at least not Depp's Sweeney! But of course it is a nice sensual punch to have him do all that stabbing when the music changes. I think it's a shame you couldn't move the part where he gets taken away from his wife to music that has a change, it doesn't fit with the music staying soft and regular...

Magicalwands, your video was cute, I like all the ways the green snake tried to keep the pink one away, and how the boot tipped, that was particularly nice animation!

I knew most people likely never heard the song before. So I knew the heavy stuff would be a surprise. I had thought the same thing you did, the soft music didn't exactly fit when he was taken away, but then again, him being taken away didn't fit when it got heavy. The song is from Sweeney's point of view, his anger and insanity, so I felt it was more appropriate to not use him being taken away at that part and rather the actual killings. It also keeps the audience in perhaps a sadder state. To feel bad for Sweeney, to a point. I do. He was taken from his family, falsely charged and went to prison (if people think prisons are bad now, that time period in England...you were better off dead), and then to return and find out his wife was raped and murdered and his daughter is being forced to marry the man who was the cause of it all...it would make even the most sane person crack. And then the one person he trusted Mrs. Lovett betrayed him too. So yes, I do tend to feel bad for him.

Oh Siren, I know there are many reasons to feel sorry for him...I just didn't. I thought Depp's portrayal was insensitive. That may be what he was aiming for, that's what can happen after so much bad in your life, after you're hurt too much. But...I would have liked some changes rather than all emo Todd...

VERY impressive gumby!!!!

My newest:
There is a guy on Youtube named Michael Mozart. He runs the channels JeepersMedia and TheToyChannel and he is my favorite YouTube "celebrity". He has worked for years in marketing as well as toy invention. He's made some pretty cool stuff. But he also reviews toys with his own sense of humor. And some of the toys he gets...good god...don't know how they ever got created.

But anyways, it was his birthday yesterday and I wanted to make him a gift. This video took me to a whole new level of hell. I originally made a film, using some of my own toy collection (shut up, Beachy, not those kinds of toys! lol). I filmed this little birthday party with all of them, cake, candle, kit and kaboodle, even Satin got in on it. And the file became corrupted! So I had nothing, last minute, his birthday was the next day. So I had to scrape together something else. Because the cake by then got eaten. So I downloaded many of his videos to my comp. I hate AVI. I hate it. I'll say it again, I hate AVI and AVI hates my computer. I spent just 3 hours trying to get the damn thing to actually render. I finished it after a hour or so and then it wouldn't render. I was so upset I spent 3 days working on this video and had nothing. Finally a hour after his birthday had past 1AM last night, I got it to render, save, and upload to Youtube.

Here is the result of my labor...its not flashy...its not shiny...but Mike loves it!

That was a really nice video, Siren! Too bad your toys' party didn't work out. I really want Mike Mozart's job. I had never heard of him before, but I want to review toys!!!

Well, he reviews toys for fun. Not a job. His jobs have been in the marketing and making of toys. And watching his reviews, you know he wouldn't come up with some of that crap. And thanks!

I suppose this is the best place to post this. I'm currently in a production of Titanic: The Musical playing the part of Radioman Harold Bride. I get to sing a wonderful duet (though it's more like two solos) with the guy playing Barrett, and I wanted to know what you all thought of it:

ps - I'm the guy sitting down at the beginning who sings the second half of the song.

I'm sorry I'm so late to answer this, but thank you so much for your compliment! It means so much to me. I'm glad you enjoyed it which is really all I'm trying to achieve. :)

My edit of the the teaser for the upcoming new Star Trek movie. Any fan of Star Trek who saw the "In A Mirror Darkly" episodes of Enterprise should appreciate it, as I was going for a similar "watching an atlernate universe version of Star Trek" theme, as opposed to having regular characters cross over into the other universe.
