Most likely it's just repackaged from its original case... That insert is the one that originally came with it, and the disc artwork is the same. So either someone has some pretty good technology or someone broke the original case.

It's probably impossible to find a picture of a reflective surface online, LOL

just by looking at the picture, i can say that it is indeed a fake, a good fake, but fake nonetheless because the Snow White Platinum Edition is the only Platinum that has a double-keep case. what i mean by that is the actual dvd case is twice the size of what an ordinary dvd case looks like.

I try to see if i can find a good pic for you to look at.

Hard to say one way or the other, but to those claiming its a fake based on the case, I wouldn't go by it. I cut my cover for Snow White to fit into a smaller case, and it has a similarity to the one pictured: parts of the spine spill over to the back of the case.

Was it ever released in a single case? There's a picture of it on Amazon with shrinkwrap in a single case...

Though the only ones I've seen were in the double case.

Just that it's repacked doesn't mean it's bootleg, it just means it's repacked. LOL

The problem is.... you can't tell how thick the case is.

Here's the real question, how much are they selling it for??

What would be so bad about a bootleg that had the exact same chapter insert and disc art, as well as all the artwork?

As long as it's not DVD-R with "Snow White" written in Sharpie, it can't be that bad. LOL

If you look at the case in the posted picture, it's clearly a single-size case with a flip-style insert. The original wasn't like that. But there might have been another version with a smaller case, somewhere down the line before it was Vaulted.

i'll try to reasearch it if it was ever released in a single case, even though i doubt it.

Here are some pictures of my copy if it can help! You can see the shiny circle around the title and the double-case.

I agree.

It looks legit other than the case. I know people replace the paper "snapper" cases a lot, and it looks like this case was replaced too. Maybe to make it blend in with the rest of their DVDs, who knows... Either that or they lost or broke the original case.

If its a fake, its a really good one.

This one might be hard to figure out without looking at the actual discs.

I'm pretty sure that's a fake. Even if they did for one reason or another replace the original case, the original cover wouldn't fit in it. The original cover would have been made to fit in the bigger case, and thus would be too big for a smaller one.

Not that there's really a problem with buying a fake like this, it looks legit enough that if it doesn't bother you, it's not going to bother anyone else.
