i sadly have been unable to see The Spectacular Spider-Man because of the fact i live in Canada and it hasn't come to our tv stations yet. I am not expecting much thought. Nothing as good as Spider-Man: The Animated Series and like the Batman probably wont get good till around the 3rd to 5th season

What area do you live? I live close to Detriot so we pick up most of the main US channels (not Disney, Nick, or CN though :( ).

Jeff Bennet has been in nearly 300 movies and tv shows.
Let's compare that to a "real star", Tom Hanks, who has been in a about 60 movies/tv shows.

Numbers alone says if you are a fan of animation, you'd know many of those voice actors are REAL and popular. Just because you don't see their face on the red carpet or they don't have an Oscar, doesn't mean they are less important or bad actors.
God, I love this woman!! hahahaha :D

:)
I've heard of some people in that voice cast, and yes they are real stars in their field and own right. Also, the animation being out of the Disney league, have you actually watched anything from Disney recently? Spectacular Spiderman IMO has better animation than some Disney shows such as Brandy and Mr. Whiskers and Lloyd In Space. So to say it's way out of Disney's league is rather a stretch, I'd agree that it's out of the Animated Classic's league but those movies have a huge budget and are supposed to be in a league of their own.

Also to add on to Siren's great post, lets not forget the amazingly talented Frank Welker who's voiced hundreds of characters over 2 decades (or is it close to 3 now?)

Woo hoo! I am loved! :D Thanks xxhplinkxx

And good point Chernabog! Voice actors are so often overlooked. Even the great Mel Blanc, more people know his name than his face.

Well, for voice actors it's few and far between when we see there face sans for Tom Kenny and Mel Blanc, who did alot of face showin' in interviews, tv shows and movies. I'm not sure why people don't recall what Mel looked like but I sure do. :)

Yay-there are other people who are watching!

I went into the series with fairly high expectations, and while I enjoyed the first few episodes A LOT, "Catalysts" (episode 7, the first appearance of the Green Goblin) was when it really started coming into its own.

So what did you guys think of last week's episode? I LOVED Posessed!Peter. There were moments where he was genuinely scary. I got chills when he met Eddie Brock the second time at the hospital "We're tired of your whining!"

Plus we got a two-for one deal by mixing in the origin story as a dream sequence. And Edward Asner as Uncle Ben!

BTW how sad is it that a freakin' Saturday morning cartoon juggling half a dozen other plotlines has so far handled the symbiote/Venom storyline with far more depth and grace than the movie?

Can't wait for the season finale!
