Eeeep! I am so late!

Taratadum-dadum-dum! (Sing to Cliff Richard's Congratulations :P )

♫ ♪ ♫ Congratulations and celebrations,
To Cee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-jay!
For moderation, and ahem ... sublimation,
This Golden Mickey statuette is hers today!

Disney Discussion is consistently diverting,
Bitching and fighting over ratios disconcerting (well, actually it's fun :P ),
Given this constant stream of (frankly, violent) activity,
Disney Discussion - the gold is yours!

Twenty-two statues, or Golden Mickeys,
Luke has incredibly obtained these past five years,
Quite a collection, if you ask me, and -
The only rhyming word I can think of is 'bears'!

Cristopher Disher has a really curious surname,
Expectedly it makes me muse much over dishes,
Detergent, bubbles, soap and random half-baked wishes,
What the hell am I, rambling about?

The famous Scapstah ... he will amaziah,
With his real shameless ripping off of forum games ,
And Disney Boy, he, deserves the statue,
For bonking Escapay on the bonce just like James (who was a guy who too once suffered a less than subtle knock on the head).

I will refrain from really naming Ollie Johnston,
Fearing the quick attack of multiple tomatoes,
Well ... add to that a heap of numerous potatoes,
Which are unfortunately ... all decomposed.

And then comes Amy, UD's own Amy!
You can squeeze fifty pounds of sucrose out of her,
With disposition, that's highly cheery,
Amy can quick give you a spin and make things fair.

Oh and let's not forget our resident fanatic,
The Amy Grant-crazed guy who remains charismatic,
Between us I don't know what that 'UNC' stands for,
Perhaps 'United National Cheesedom'.

IQ of zero ... or one so large,
That it can only be expressed in standard form,
The last is Netty's, certainly Netty's,
For why on earth would he have won the damned award!? ♫ ♪ ♫

Congratulations to all the winners! :)

Here's another skit, this time from Julian Carter, presenting our next special category award!:

Special Category: Forum Member You'd Like To Have A Brain Transplant With So You Can Acquire All Their Knowledge And Fun Little Quirks

Image:

Julian Carter: "It feels so wonderful to be presenting the next Forum Award. Nevertheless, given its slightly risqué subject matter (it may even top the controversy that is test-tube babies) we are legally obligated to have Dr. Blastula join us at the awards. Dr. Blastula is a professional brain surgeon, and will be answering all your questions in medical jargon free language! Welcome to the UD Forum Awards, Dr. Blastula!"

Dr. Blastula: "Thank you."

Julian Carter: "I'm sure many members here are itching to ask you all about brain transplants."

Dr. Blastula: "I'll be happy to explain."

Julian Carter: "It seems we have quite a few questions already!"

deathiemouse: "Dr. Blastula, precisely how does one reconnect the brain tissue to a foreign spinal cord? Somehow, I think it would be highly challenging to perfectly realign the neurons and re-establish the synapses in between … if not downright impossible. Besides, there's the major operation of slipping the cerebrum into a new cranium. Don't you think medical science is crossing the fine line of ethics?"

Dr. Blastula: "The art of brain transplants has yet to ignite wrath in the hearts of the populace. Many people think it is fun! Well, it does rather kick ass to share somebody else's brain, doesn't it? Moreover, the surgery is an uncomplicated one. All you need is a school microscope and some Vernier Callipers for the measurements."

deathiemouse: "Sounds rather unhygienic too …"

Dr. Blastula: "Hogwash! We disinfect all our tools with antiseptic prior to the surgery. Are there any more intelligent questions?"

Ariel'sprince: "I wanna have a brain transplant with Giselle! I want to experience true love's kiss!"

Dr. Blastula: "Although the former is impossible, I'll happily oblige with the latter."

Ariel'sprince: "Yuck!"

Julian Carter: "I must say that our doctor is indeed Dr. Yvette Blastula. She's a girl."

ichabod: "You sure? It could be Joan Rivers in disguise."

Julian Carter: "Well, that would still make her a girl, wouldn't it?"

ichabod: "Don't be so sure. I'm not even certain Joan qualifies as human."

Dr. Blastula: "I am a lovely lady, and I am not Joan Rivers!!"

ichabod: "Not sure what Carl Linnaeus classified Joan as, but she certainly has a good grip on selling handbags."

Joan Rivers: "Hey there, love."

ichabod: "Blinking brollies! I'm betting you don't want to sell me a handbag!"

Joan Rivers: "'Course not, hot stuff…"

One Scuffle 'n Smooch Later

Julian Carter: "Ladies and gentlemen, Dr. Blastula will now proceed with a few more questions as ichabod recovers from his recent encounter with the, um … excitable Joan."

musicradio77: "Dr. Blastula, with whom should I have my brain transplanted?"

Dr. Blastula: "I'm afraid that is your decision, my dear. However, I would suggest somebody who is not bothered with shouting "Eureka! It's a 1988 Universal Pictures logo!" at the local theatre."

Julian Carter: "Thank you for your scintillating answers Dr. Blastula. I now present the Golden Mickey to the UDer with whom most of the community wishes to have a brain transplant to obtain his/her knowledge and funny little quirks.....

The Super Sophomore Award

Image:

Julian Carter: "'Tis me again, my lovely audience! Yes, your favouritest star is once again on stage unharmed despite his crimes against English grammar! I am here to present the award for Super Sophomore of the Year! The people nominated for the award may not quite yet be UD veterans, but they're no longer forum larvae either! I give you blackcauldron85, Prudence, PeterPanFan and SpringHeelJack!"

blackcauldron85: "This is so totally awesome! I hope one of us girls wins."

Prudence: "Yes, it is scientifically proven that females mature earlier than boys. Add to that the fact that we can multi-task, ergo we are vastly more efficient than the opposite sex – hence more deserving of the award."

SpringHeelJack: "Oh yeah? Then the next time I want to chat on the phone, knit, and ********** simultaneously I'll get myself a sex change."

SpringHeelJack and PeterPanFan erupt in peals of laughter.

blackcauldron85: "You two are not very nice young men!"

Prudence: "Not to mention crassly vulgar and immature."

PeterPanFan: "You're forgetting your James M. Barrie, aren't you?"

Prudence: "Oh yes. You're doomed to pre-pubescence."

PeterPanFan: "What? I'm over thirteen years of age!"

Prudence: "Technically, yes. But you're into Peter Pan … you do not wish to grow up. Do you dare deny that undisputable fact?"

PeterPanFan: "Of course I do! I'm a raging ball of hormones!"

Prudence: "Goodness. Spare me!"

blackcauldron85: "A gleam of gold … Prue! It's time for the award!"

Prudence: "Something stinks."

Luke: "Er … that would be the Golden Mickey statuette. We got a mouldy batch this year. They're past their sell-by date."

Prudence: "And why is there a whiff of naphthalene?"

blackcauldron85: "Oh my gosh! It's the attack of the moth balls!"

Luke: "Not exactly. When the statuettes were shipped, they were at a point confused with a container of textiles, hence the smell."

SpringHeelJack: "Sigh. This year I was really hoping the statuettes would be miniature audio-animatronics figures. Not only are they not fancy, but we're getting a sub-standard product."

Luke: "Here is the winner's Golden Mickey statuette!"

blackcauldron85: "Gasp!"

PeterPanFan: "Yeuch!"

SpringHeelJack: (in disbelief) "Is that …"

Prudence: "… a furry green platypus?"

Julian Carter: (butting in) "Ladies and gentlemen, note how the emotive power of the awards shuts down the rational centres of the brain. A remarkable process, I must say. As the nominees bicker and wish they had their claws on that statuette … "

SpringHeelJack: "You have got to be kidding me! I'd rather die of the plague …"

Julian Carter: "… I will announce the …"

PeterPanFan: "Destroy the scandalous thing!"

Julian Carter: "… winner, who happens to be …"

Blackcauldron85 and Prudence: "Hail Mary, full of grace …"

Julian Carter: "Will you all bleeping listen!? I don't carry an extra set of vocal chords around with me!"

Luke: (monotonously) "Listen, the winner is *insert winning member's name here*."

Julian Carter: "That's my line!"

Special Category: Forum Member You'd Most Like To Spend A Day With In a Disney Theme Park

Image:

The Disney Theme Parks are full of magical experiences. For some it’s the sight of seeing the castle and train station at the other end of the lagoon, for some it’s eating a Dole Whip. Why that last one has any appeal is beyond me but that’s probably because I don’t care much for pineapple.
Anyway, this award is for the person whom you would most like to spend a magical day with at one of the parks. Be it in Tokyo, Paris, Hong Kong, Anaheim or Orlando. This person would be there with you through all the experiences. From seeing ghosts and pirates, singing bears and birds, animals both real and imaginary, technologies of the future, a dreamed-up movie studio, or a castle named after a princess, be it big or small. He or she would also be there for the tough times, like having your ankles crushed by strollers, watching your precious churro fall to the ground and wondering just who is that person in the giant Pooh costume? But you don’t care. You’ve picked this person because his/her personality is just to enjoyable not to spend a day at one of these really expensive but hugely enjoyable parks.

And now, the results...
