Personally, I'm sorely disappointed with this second effort. Whilst the first one was criticized for it's predictability (which wasn't too bad), it worked as a full length feature. Beast just seems like an average 23 minute episode strung out to "full length feature". My worst complaint is probably the anti-climatic resolution (and Leela's sudden change of mind...) and the sub-average ending. I don't know what kind of reaction they were planning, but it just seemed rushed in order to meet the deadline imo. The whole Bender subplot wasn't very exciting either.
On the plus side, the jokes were good, the references were fun (thought not as good as in Bender's Big Score), and the Disney references were gold
I wonder how everyone else found it, I seem to be the only non-fan
Had this been released first, I think I'd be a much bigger fan though. Bender's Big Score is love!
