Now, what does everyone think of the roles I assigned?

I admit that I chose the UDers according to their roles, personalities and posts at the forum. This might seem mean spirited (especially when casting the villains), but its all in good fun, and its me making fun of how silly we can be sometimes.

Here's why I chose people as my Aladdin cast:
Disney Villain as Aladdin: I chose him for the role because of two things; first, the comment Aurora made about him looking like Aladdin, and second because personality wise he really does seem like a positive, bright young man akin to Aladdin in the film. So call it perfect casting .

blackcauldron85 as Jasmine: I chose her mainly because she was the first female member that came to mind (Prudence has been absent for a while now). However, I realized that both DV and blackcauldron85 like Hannah Montana and Jonas Bros. Plus, bc85 loves stuff that the other members hate, like High School Musical. So who better to play a rebellious princess than a girl that is proud to display her HSM fandom?

Escapay as Genie: I might as well come out and say it; I really like Escapay as a poster. He's funny (those stories he writes are HILARIOUS!), smart and a good friend. Not to mention that there was fun chemistry between him and DV at the WDW thread, so again, who better to play a funny guide than Escapay?

Ariel'sPrince as Abu: Now this might seem mean, since I am casting him as the monkey. However, AP always struck me as the little guy people seem to ignore but has a strong presence. And Abu DID help Aladdin by helping him escape the Cave of Wonders and stealing the lamp from Jafar. So Ariel'sPrince's the underrated hero!

Disney Duster as Jafar: Oh boy...Believe me when I say that any mean intentions are satirical and I mean NOTHING by it. Yes, I've disagreed heavily with him on occasions, but the reason I chose him as the antagonist is because of the playful belief that he's a big bully towards Ariel (because of the third movie), Wall.E and Beauty and the Beast. Plus, Jafar IS an intelligent and smooth character, and heroes DO need a strong antagonist. So like it or not Disney Duster is the villain of the story. Don't worry, Jafar gets a comeback more than once, and people love him .

Timon/Pumbaa as Iago: OK, this is indeed mean spirited. The reason I chose him is because I see his rather mean posts regarding a topic and I can't help but think of Iago...Sorry dude!

dvdjunkie as The Sultan: OK, I chose him because The Sultan being the oldest character I needed someone old, and dvdjunkie is number one (sorry dude!) . However, The Sultan is a strong father figure, and to me dvdjunkie seems to fit that role perfectly both as an UD poster and a real life person. So the lovable Sultan is played by a lovable poster .

And that's my cast. I'm sorry if anyone feels offended. If you want to you can cast me on any bad role to get even. Go ahead, I won't mind. Heck, you can cast me as Bambi's mom, just because she gets killed, and I won't mind!

Meh. She's basically old Tink, but younger and with less negative life experiences (I'm guessing, remains to be seen I suppose)....

But yeah!

Basically, in the new series, she's the one who revolutionizes tinkering by introducing the concept of using Lost Things to imporve inventions. She brings new and interesting things to the table, just like you always bring new and interesting articles to the discussions! Maybe it's a bit of a stretch, but I thought it fit nicely.
