Ok, picture this:
We're in 19th century Thailand, there's this young boy (12/14) named Shanti, he's an orphan
(I know, not very original, but the best I could come up with
)His only friend is this rare monkey, whom he nurtured from birth.
He sets out on this great adventure, searching for forbidden treasures in temples unknown to even the most religious monk....
On the way he befriends a girl
(an instant connection, she's an orphan too
) ,.. let's call her Radha!(disregard the age difference, picture's just for impression)
Radha as it happens is really sick and the only way to cure her is to make a potion with special herbs that only grow high atop the KiriKandra
(a mountain, just making this up as I go.....
)
Thus the search for treasure is postponed, untill Shanti can cure his friend.
Together they must battle the evil Saladin,
a strange creature , filled with hatred towards anything human for the sole reason that they eat his plants...(or should I say herbs...)
end of part one....
