Do Not Start New Threads About Slipcovers
UD's reviews always mention if a DVD initially came with a cardboard slipcover, and so does ]Jake Lipson's thread...so there is positively no reason that new threads asking about titles should be started. You are entirely welcome to discuss those cardboard packaging treats that sometimes open like a book and sometimes don't. But leave discussion for Jake's thread or a topic already discussing the relevant DVD.

And

We have the Disney Customer Service thread.

Since I don't live in the US, I'm always baffled with such telephone numbers as the one demonstrated above.

How on earth are you supposed to dial 'DISNE' from your telephone set!?

Each number on a phone has corresponding letters underneath them... nothing for 1, 2 has ABC, 3 has DEF, etc. to 9 with WXYZ.

And, since this topic is here... is this an easy enough process? I'd like to get a slipcover for Mary Poppins.

Oh! I see. Sounds like the setup used on mobile phones. I guess I'm not familiar with it because phone numbers here are simply that - numbers. They're simple, consisting of just 8 digits, the first two being '21', since only recently did a second telephone service provider show up here (their phone numberes start with a '27').

Lady And The Tramp Replacement

Post by AlexValve »

Hello!
I found today a copy of Lady And the Tramp 50th Anniversary that came from idk where... problem is that it only has one Disc (Disc 2) the box and the cover, and it lefts missing the Slip Cover Disc 1 and The DVD Guide thing.

Question is... Do you think Disney Will Replace it?

i called Disney CS this past weekend to tell them that my Grey's Anatomy season 2 dvd set had two of the exact same disks (disk 6), and it was missing one disk (disk 3). The DCS representative was very VERY VERY helpful. She sent out a prepaid postage label and package to send back the duplicate dvd, and told me i should receive my missing disk in about 2 weeks!! This was not the outcome i expected, it far exceeded that! I absolutely LOVE Disney CS!!!

Go Disney!

1) Disney does not charge for slipcovers but you have to pay for shipping and handling (i believe it is 6.95)

2)there is no email, you have to call 18007234763

I was wondering if anyone thinks that its possible that they still have Lion King/Aladdin slipcovers available to order.

Since its wayyy OOP, I wouldn't know. I'm going to call still, but I need to decide which slipcovers I'm able (or what you guys think I'm able) to get and sort out everything before just calling and asking..

And also, after emailing the Walt Disney Home Entertainment Support about recieving a slipcover, they said they would send out a "one-time replacement O-Sleeve." Can someone clarify this please?

Thanks.

In light of the recent issues regarding the DNR-to-death transfer of The Sword in the Stone and the revised shots in The Little Mermaid, I'm bumping up this thread (and repeating what I said in the TLM thread) in case anyone wishes to contact Disney Customer Service.

If any problem will be fixed, the best thing to do is to let Disney know, without sounding like raving fanboys about it (so no phrases like "f*cking incompetence"). Be eloquent and civil, while still voicing your disappointment in the product. As much as it pains me to say this, don't write about a mistake as something that's ruining "the integrity of the film" or anything else that's more suited for an intellectual film discussion. Save that for message boards, not for Customer Service.

They're a business, let them know that you do not want this product if it will be faulty. It's not meeting the standards you expect, it's not something for which you'll pay your money. Let them know you'll gladly purchase this product if they offered it with this mistake rectified, or if they have to offer a replacement program, even if it's one not ready until after the release date.
