If I do get a DS Lite, I'm torn between 2 colors: the Crimson and Black or the Polar White. I like both equally, but I'm unsure which to get. Also, if I would choose some games, I think I would like one of Pokemon Mysteries of Time or Pokemon Mysteries of Darkness and one of Pokemon Pearl or Pokemon Diamond. Not sure, but I would probably get one of the Brain Age and other "thought" games, because, I'm tellin' ya, I'm not that bright! If anyone has any other suggestions, and I'm kinda on a really, really tight budget, it would be appreciated.

I think the crimson DS Lite is the best one yet, and its way more original than the other colors; that's just my opinion.TheSequelOfDisney wrote:If I do get a DS Lite, I'm torn between 2 colors: the Crimson and Black or the Polar White. as for the games, Pokemon Diamond is the only one of those I own, and it was pretty disappointing, don't get me wrong, i actually enjoyed playng it, and its pretty addictive until you're done, but there's nothing to do afterwards, it doesn't have the quality the first and second generations had that you could actually play them time after time and not be bored of it. If you're a die hard pokemon fan like I am, the game is a must, but you will be somewhat disappointed at some poit of the game, if you've naver played pokemon before, you're actually gonna find it very fun.

I had Pokemon Gold (lost it somehow) and I have Pokemon Ruby in my SP right now. I think that I wouldn't get bored since I have yet to finish Ruby so a new challenge would be fun I think.rs_milo_whatever wrote:as for the games, Pokemon Diamond is the only one of those I own, and it was pretty disappointing, don't get me wrong, i actually enjoyed playng it, and its pretty addictive until you're done, but there's nothing to do afterwards, it doesn't have the quality the first and second generations had that you could actually play them time after time and not be bored of it. I think I will go with the Crimson and Black afterall. Not sure why, but I think I was initially attracted to it when I saw all of the DS's. Thanks for the tips guys!

I had the same problem you had. I would play the game for hours when I first bought it, but after you beat the main story, there is nothing to do. I transferred most of my Pokemon from FireRed and Sapphire to my DS game. That's when it got boring for me. I haven't touched it since January.rs_milo_whatever wrote:

I think I found best what I should get:
The Nintendo DS Lite Travel Kit and the Nintendo DS Lite Crimson and Black
http://www.amazon.com/Nintendo-DS-Lite- ... _314_2_tit
I guess it's not too bad for $150.

How's the game? should I buy it or wait to the next game?.PeterPanfan wrote:Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix
I have the red\black DS
I also want the Prince Caspian and Kingdom Hearts games for the DS.
I saw gameplay clips from Prince Caspian and they ripped-off the fighting mini games from Enchanted! (You know, those mini games with Edward and Giselle in purple dress?).

Game Boy Advance SPs are discontinued, so as of now the only way to get one is buy a used one.TheSequelOfDisney wrote:Sorry to dig this topic out of the grave, but I have a few questions. I'm becoming increasingly interested in getting a DS Lite, but was wondering if it is worth it. I already have the SP, but would it be worth to upgrade? And if I do, has there been anything about a newer model of the DS that's coming soon? I would also like to know if there are any "packs" or starter kits that includes like the charger extra styli (I think that's right) and other things like that. And is it a safe bet that the price will stay $129.99? Thanks if anyone could help me with my questions.
I would recommend holding on to your SP for 3 reasons:
1. If you have any Game Boy or Game Boy Color games, the SP will play them, and the DS won't.
2. If you have a Game Cube, there are certain Game Cube games that can link up with the Game Boy Advance, using a link cable. I don't know if you can link to these games using a Wii instead of a Game Cube, or not. The links give you extra content, etc.
3. I have also heard the rumor that the next model of the DS will lose the GBA port entirely. Whether this is true or not, I'm not sure.
I am fairly sure that the standard DS Lite price will stay at $129 for a while. That price includes the AC charger, and an extra stylus.
I am very happy with my DS, the dual screens and stylus system make for some unique games.
Here are some games I have and/or recommend:
Bomberman
Brain Age: Train Your Brain in Minutes a Day (this is the best of the brain programs, and includes 100 Sudoku puzzles!)
Brain Age 2: More Training in Minutes a Day
Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow - If you like the Castlevania games, these are a must.
Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin
Contact
Dr. Leyton and the Curious Village (or is it Professor Layton?) - I've heard good things about this.
Hotel Dusk: Room 215
The Legend of Zelda: The Phantom Hourglass
Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time
Mario vs. Donkey Kong 2: March of the Minis
Mr. Driller: Drill Spirits
Nanostray
New Super Mario Bros. (also the remake of Super Mario 64)
Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney (there are 3 or 4 games in this series now)
Super Princess Peach
Touch Detective
Touch Detective 2 1/2
Trauma Center: Under the Knife

1. I have two or three GBC games, but I haven't played them in forever and I think I've lost most of the ones that I actually want(ed) to play.littlefuzzy wrote: 1. If you have any Game Boy or Game Boy Color games, the SP will play them, and the DS won't.

3. Wouldn't it make sense to get the DS Lite anyway?
I also have another question: Could I sell te SP at a game store and get their money? Would they give the price in which it really is, or buy it for cheap because few people would want it because they can now enjoy the DS/Lite?

they buy them for you but for very little money, don't exactly know how much, but I know they buy them from you for a ridiculously low amount of moneylittlefuzzy wrote:

and sell them for a lot more than that... I still recommend looking into it.

I'm getting a Coral Blue DS Lite, it flows well with my room (if I were to lose it) and it just suits me *chuckles* I have to wait for my b-day though to get (May 10th) which is fine with me.
Disney Friends: My brother got this game for HIS DS and I gave it a try, really got me into it, I know it's not a RPG or anything but I'm just takin the DS step by step for now, I even played his Power Ranger game and had a blast.
Later on this month or next year, I'll get 365/2 Days (Kingdom Hearts) for the DS

Mason_Ireton-How's Disney Friends? I"m thinking of buying it (Actually I wanted to buy it last month but decided to buy Spider-Man 3 insted).
About Kingdom Hearts 358\2 Days-You have a lot of time until then,It will be released in Japan only in the summer so the English version will come later (Kingdom Hearts II was out in Japan in December, the English version was out in March).

Ah thanks for the info bout 358/2 days Ariel's prince, greatly appericated.
Disney Friends: It's fairly easy I guess....I don't know, I'll be gettin my own copy, so far though, Pooh's world is challegning and Stitch's world too. But it's worth playin.
My mom wants our systems to be diverse, so like my brother Ray has White DS, Alex has Red and I have Coral Blue. So there won't be any confusions or what, if we got the same system but in dif. color.

,I"m glad I helped I helped
(Also about the worlds-The Snow White,Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty worlds are on the PSP game I think and the DS game has Wonderland,Olympus Colisoum and Agrabah (I think they"ll make Atlantica and Halloween Town),I"m not sure that the DS one have the new worlds).
I"ll guess I"ll wait
I"m most exited for Dory and Stitch, thanks for telling me
.
What's Coral Blue? I know that there's light blue (Ice Blue) and Navy Blue.
I have this one:
http://www.amazon.com/Nintendo-DS-Lite- ... 008&sr=1-3
I wonder if Pirates Of The Caribbean:At World's End is good (Well,I heard it's long until you play as Jack Sparrow and those duell mini games seems complicated).

I'm back again. I was just wondering how much a Gameboy Advance SP (Cobalt) would sell for if it came with a carrying case, normal charger, car charger and some (unused) headphones. I know that I want the DS and I want to sell the SP, but how much do you think it would sell for? I've checked eBay and the prices vary but I was looking for it to sell between $25-$35. If anyone has any suggestions it would be very helpful.
