Of course I mean the book adaption of the movie, They did leave alot out of the movie that was in the book, and the final battle was different. But overall I thought the movie was great, By the way my theater did not show the HULK preview, thew had Batman, Indian Jones, The Loveguru, and one other onedisneyboy20022 wrote:Book??? Dark Knight Rulez
I caught a digital matinee showing of it today and absolutely loved it. It may be too early to say so, but I think this is my personal favorite comic book adaptation, period. The tone, in my opinion was just right. It was neither too cheesy nor too pretentious. The dry one-liners and comebacks are exactly my type of humor, and Robert Downey Jr. delivered them perfectly (and so did the rest of the cast, notably and surprisingly Gwyneth Paltrow). Some people have complained that there wasn't enough action, and I have to wonder how short their attention spans are. I thought there was plenty of action, all of which aided the story rather than distracting from it. The effects were so perfect that they didn't even look like effects (I'm still trying to figure out how they did the scene where Pepper sticks her hand in Tony's chest to get the wire out). I also appreciated how this film avoided some of the cliches found in other superhero films. It really felt fresh and original and was a great kickoff to the summer movie season. I'm already waiting for both the Blu-Ray disc and Iron Man 2.
