Because I signed up after a certain time for these forums I can't pm. Actually, Luke offered PMing privelages(sp?) to members that wanted them.
By the looks of it, you don't post much, so instead of calling the rule "stupid", you could maybe post more and then procure an opportunity to gain PMing.
I think that's why PMing isn't available to new members, because if they're just going to post a few times, why give them the privelage?
