Looks like November 5th release date. I am thinking Christmas list.

These really are some of the very best non-super hero comic books ever. Carl Bark's art is absolutely wonderful.

Does anyone know what this edition is compared to the old "Carl Barks Library"?

I believe it is mostly just an American version of "The Collected Works of Carl Barks" that is currently being published in Scandinavia and Germany. It contains new articles by Geoffrey Blum. The colors in the first few volumes was dreadful but it got better in the later volumes. Hopefully this is fixed in this version.

Sing the price of this book, I doubt it has the same quality as the scandinavian release as it is supposed to be the most exclusive Disney comic release to date.

Here in the Netherlands we have a series of books with works from Carl Barks and you get one in the mail every month. You collect all works from Carl Barks over the course of a year or something... It's great and you have a great collection in the end...

I do own the fascimile editions starting by 1952 and onward that were published in recent years!
