Funny how you post this when I wrote a story about how Cindy and Ariel start to fight during a parade XD .Ariel'sprince wrote:So the jellyfish will replace her shells,Disney Duster?.
GargoyleGoddess21-You're very talentedI loved your Jasmine?.
Okay,I made Ariel VS Cinderella, what do you think?:
I wonder how to color it-to make Cinderella blonde with blue dress or with orange hair and silver\white dress?.
By the way-Ariel ripped Cinderella's dress.

I dug up some older Disney fan art~
This one I did back in 2002-2003 when I was working at the Disney Store and surrounded by all the Disney Princess Collection stuff. It inspired me to create a Disney Princess Revolt:
<a href="http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v281/ ... nished.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v281/ ... nished.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>
And of course, then I had to do the actual Princess Collection girls:
<a href="http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v281/ ... nished.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v281/ ... nished.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>
This is probably the closest thing to a 'political cartooon' that I've ever done. Back when Disney announced Brother Bear would be it's last 2D full feature flick, I was sad. So I created this statement~ really, looking back at it, "Eisner" should have been put on the apple, not "CGI" but oh well. The idea is that 2D animation is put to "sleep" after being "poisened" by the apple, and well, until a "prince" comes to awaken it, 2D is sleeping...but not dead. That's what I believed back then anyways.

So, THEN after Disney announced The Frog Princess being the next 2D, or first 2D after the 5 year drought (or however long), I was ubber excited, and made this companion response piece. Great minds thing alike. ^_^

I'll have to see what I can dig up. ^_^ Of course...I'm really really pondering emailing Greg and asking how they select their artist issue to issue... I would SO LOVE to say I got to draw a Gargoyles comic...so that being said~ there will probably be NEW Gargoyles art coming from me (I've got to have something to show him if/when I do contact him!) ... :ninja:CJ wrote:I love your drawings, and I would love to see some of your Gargoyles drawings, GargoyleGoddess21.GargoyleGoddess21 wrote: I'm an avid fan of Gargoyles...Disneyfella knows about my obsession...

I hate my scanner. It makes these pictures look really light. I'll describe them:

In the top left corner is the fairy godmother, whom is holding her wand, creating the Disney Dust the is circling the transformed Cinderella. Near the top right corner is the magic pumpkin carriage, sitting alone, with no horses, drivers, or footmen. The upper background is supposed to be a fairly dark purple, but in the scan, it doesn't come off that way. Towards the bottom is a blue floor.

This Snow White picture bares some similarities between my Little Mermaid picture. Anyway, this picture is fairly light in real life, but it comes off almost clear in the scan. In the center is Snow White skipping down a grassy hill. She's carrying a rope of flowers as blue birds and butterflies flutter around her in a bright blue sky filled with large clouds. At the bottom is the pale green grass covered in wildflowers.
All I can say is, next time I do one of these, I'm going to have to do dark colors...

So I was bored and decided to draw Stitch... Which in itself is weird, since I can't stand how overrated and overused he's become.
Anyway. I haven't seen the movie in a long time and I didn't use any references, so that's why he looks so weird
(oh, and I don't have a skanner, so I took pictures with my mobile
)
First pic I did:

Second one, slightly different angle/expression:

And even a third one. This is kind of like a 'dog holding it's head out the car window while taking a drive though a forest'-thing:

And, because I was still bored, I decided to give the first one some colour. It's very crude and all, but I figured that would fit well with the sketchy drawing. Also, I'm a lazy bugger.

Asante sana, squash banana, wewe nugu, mimi hapana.
Nice stuff guys, especially GargoyleGoddess21 and Drawken.

MerXan - nice drawings! Especially of Ariel.
Nandor - those are good drawings of Stitch considering you did use any references. ^_^
UmbrellaFish - I like how you put backgrounds in your Cinderella and Snow White pictures ~ I myself ignore backgrounds a lot, its something I need to stop doing!
Marky_198 - when you say "exactly the design" you mean looks a lot alike right? I'm just a bit paranoid about my chibi princesses (Disney Revolt girls) since they HAVE been stolen before~ by some pin company in asia (I think anyways, pretty sure it's somewhere in asia). They took my drawings and turned them into Disney pins and sold them on Ebay for awhile.
And now, per request of CJ I dug up some Gargoyle or Gargoyle inspired pictures. The images at the top are from 1997-98 (over 10 years old! EEEK!) and then the art gets newer as it goes to the bottom.

Disney Drawing!
Gargoyle Goddess (did you see my comments on your previous pictures?), I like your first Snow White picture very much (what is Snow White lying on? And is that sand around her the apple's lying in?). It's so beautiful and I feel the dead and depressed mood of the piece. However, you didn't do as good a job with the second Snow White picture, drawing and mood and all. What's up with that? You didn't feel as inspired because it was a follow-up piece?
Umbrellafish, I really like your Cinderella drawing (not just for the Disney dust!). I like the concept of having the fairy godmother and coach so far away, and the magic dust is going far out to reach Cinderella, and I really like the idea of small characters in a full background. The blue background is supposed to have like stones in it, correct? Yea, I think the garden in the movie had stones in it.
Jeffel, I like how you colored Dumbo, it's really good and sticks out. Bambi also has very nice forest-looking colors which really fits.

I love this, it's amazing. Well thought out, beautifully drawn and colored, it's truly wonderful.GargoyleGoddess21 wrote:This is probably the closest thing to a 'political cartooon' that I've ever done.
