Seemingly out of nowhere, one of Amy's 1990 Christmas singles resurfaced at #2 in Europe today. It's a medley duet with Sandi Patty entitled "It Came Upon a Midnight Clear/Oh Little Town of Bethlehem". Wohoo!

Amy will be on Oprah tomorrow!!! She hasn't been on Oprah since the late 90s, so this is quite exciting.

Amy Grant is scheduled to appear on Oprah (seen live by over 8 million viewers daily) with her husband Vince Gill this Friday, 11/30. The couple appear on almost the full hour of the show, which features taped footage with them at home talking about their Christmas traditions as a family, as well as in studio interviews and a duet performance of "True Love". The show will also feature segments with Rascal Flatts and Kenny Rogers.
Grant also discusses her latest book, "Mosaic, Pieces of My Life So Far" as well as her recently released, career-spanning Greatest Hits CD, both of which were gifts to the audience of nearly 300 people.
Oprah.com will feature excerpts from the book and also offer a free download of Grant's song "Takes A Little Time" for a limited time. To check them out, go to

I just wanted to post in this thread, because I'm listening to the House of Love CD right now(and have been for the past few days.)

Amy Grant is so awesome! Aaron pretty much introduced me to her, and gave me two of her CDs as a Secret Santa gift. I listened to My Best Christmas nonstop from the day I received it until the day after Christmas. Greatest Hits is my favorite CD at the moment, haha.

I just joined Friends of Amy(FOA) and the community there seems very nice and supportive.

I soon will be buying "Mosaic: Pieces of My Life So Far" at Borders, as I have a gift card to there. Can't wait!

Aaron I would love for you to do a review on the book, and her "new" Live Concert CD/DVD!

I missed this post until now, as I was on vacation. I set my DVR to record multiple airings of this while I was out of town. Unfortunately, it failed to record a single showing of it, so I missed it.

I've come to enjoy Paula Deen's cooking recently so I was looking forward to this. A bummer, but maybe I can track down a copy somewhere. Thanks for letting me know, though!

I'm thrilled that you've taken to Amy's music and that you're enjoying not only the CDs I sent you, but also House of Love. Why did you choose to get that one next? Just curious. I was also happy to see you on FOA. I think you'll like Mosaic, it's really an amazing read. I would love to do a review of both the book and the live CD/DVD. Maybe I'll get a chance to at some point.

Well, my aunt knows I've recentley started liking Amy, and she had the original House of Love CD, so she lent it to me and I transfered the songs to iTunes.

Last night I watched the interview feature on the DVD of Greatest Hits. It was very enjoyable and entertaining.

I hope you choose to do the review!
