Favorite NEW character and why

Post by REINIER »

I know we've done this many times before , but humor me on this one :D

Favorite NEW Character (2008 and beyond so to speak) and why

Would that be:

a) WALL. E

the sexiest robot in outher space!

b) Rapunzel

Whoever said Blondes just wanna have fun?

or

c) Bolt

Garfield, watch out!

I know these movies are in no way similar but that just adds to the fun right!

I'll kick off with my own Personal Favorite: Wall. E
The first Pixar charcter that really knocked my socks off, and I haven't even seen the movie yet!

Bolt. But only Chris Sanders' original design, which had more character, quirks and style in its few sketchy lines than any of the "new" Disney characters. :(
Most of my Blu-ray collection some of my UK discs aren't on their database

Sanders, whishfull thinking I'm afraid, I hear he's now on the Dreamworks Team!

Rapunzel. I want to see what Glen Kene's beautiful talent is like when he is directing, and creating a new and hopefully wonderful Disney character.

Rapunzel seems excellent as well, the paint-like settings are to die for, I hope we will see much of that in the feauture, but that's another topic!

Wall-E and Bolt. I have a soft spot for cute cuddly characters.

I just cant get warmed up to WALL.E for some reason. I am just not interested at all. I wanted to be, but I'm just not.

Well, I'm just not into robot movies for a start; i hate things like Short Circuit etc. They just arnt appealing to me. I know loads of people are excited for the release, and thats wonderful for them, but I am not going to see it.

Characters that look like they'll be favorites are:

1. Wall-E, of course (I've loved this movie from the first info. released)
2. Tiana--regardless of TPatF's success, I think she'll be interesting.
3. The 'wise-woman/witch' from The Bear and the Bow played by Julie Walters.
4. Carl Frederickson (from Up)

That's really the only characters (that I've heard of thus far) that sound likable.

Listening to most often lately:
Christina Aguilera ~ "Cruz"
Sombr ~ "homewrecker"
Megan Moroney ~ "Beautiful Things"

How can we know which characters are our favorites if we haven't seen their movies yet? :?

As far as character design goes you CAN make a judgement, even if you've seen little at that :D

I think it's hard to pick a favorite new character from movies that aren't even released yet.... I was thinking Giselle when I read the title! :P But I am very interested in Rapunzel now.... I can't wait to see what her new design will look like....
