This is the first time I've caught a pic of an Emmy award, and I must say it's quite beautiful! I find the Golden Globe rather unattractive.

Does anyone know why the Academy Awards are considered overall more prestigious than the Golden Globes? I've always wanted to know ...

I have to agree. I wouldn't have changed it unless I didn't want to look stupid. The award kinda reminds me of the football trophies I got when I played flag football a long time ago. The only difference is that instead of a globe on top, there was a football player. Plus it was plastic.

Yes, but a fun one too. It's not often we see or discuss the golden girl on UD.

I know, isn't she just majestic?

BRENDA! This is a Golden Globe, it's sacred! It's trademarked!

**stops channeling***

Because as awesome as it is to hold the world in your hands, most people seem to prefer a little bald naked man.

I tried but everytime that I put it in avatar change on Photobucket it was not working.

And Julian was kidding aswhen you just click on the link it leads to a thing that says "This image is hotlinked from ect. ect.." so HE made an avatar of that message.

UmbrellaFish is my current victim.

In the pipeline: Simba3; PeterPanFan...

...after which the Portrait Series will finally wrap up. It's been around for almost a year now, and I think it must have worn out its welcome amongst UDers. After the last avatar I shall create a thread specifically commemorating the series and exhibiting all the avatars*. I shall also add a poll to see which avatar is most popular. I'm danged curious!!

* I think this will be good especially for relatively newer UD members who may have missed the first half of the series, or others who were here all the time but too blooming blind to notice it.

Oooh, I can't wait to see it Julian!!

As for my current avatar, I have been wanting to change it for a quite sometime, but I am still unable to change it. So, everyone just pretend that my current avatar is Rod from "Avenue Q", in honor of my trip this coming weekend to see the show.

Awesome new avatar, CJ! Gosalyn rocks. Hard to recognize you without a Gargoyles image, but I approve of the change!

Aw, I love Gosalyn! I might make a Pistol Pete (Pete's daughter) avatar next. For now, I'm back to my default icon.
