Given the fact that I bought Enchanted last week at a local video store, I won't have to babble about that. :P

Of course, I'll probably babble about having to buy it again at Target for the bonus disc.

Not really a movie, but I picked up the DVD-Audio/DVD of Mannheim Steamroller Meets the Mouse... It was part of a buy 3 used get 1 free offer, and was the free title.)

It doesn't have videos on it (for the songs, there are some trailers for other stuff.)

I've *ahem* "had" this for a while (as a cd), and I figured I might as well get the real thing! :P

An avid Disney fan will note that I'm a big collector of "The Disney Sunday Movie" programming block from the 80s. In fact I only need about 4 or 5 more shows to have the entire series (which ran from 1986-1988). I'm working on researching this and hopefully one day writing a book or creating a website to chronicle these films more in depth than any other resource out there.

So as a final plea, if you ever come across any of those rare programs or something that screams collector. Please let me know. Obviously I would probably be interested ;)

Please be kind. I don't get to brag about these movies often. My friends and family think I'm crazy and haven't heard of well over half of these collector films. But I like it :D

I don't remember the exact number but I've added these to my list this month

Enchanted
101 Dalmatians
Aristocats
Pocahontas 10th Anniversary
Tarzan (1 disc) Special Edition

I could have gotten the Mulan Special Edition instead of Tarzan or Pocahontas, but I grabbed the one with the least amount of copies left :)

I picked up the original Freaky Friday, and the original The Shaggy Dog.

On a related note, these (and several other Disney live-action titles) were 7.50 each at Wal-Mart. There was one of those freestanding pyramidal shelves with 4 sides, and one side was pretty much dedicated to these $7.50 Disney titles. I *THINK* that these are now standard prices at Wal-Mart, not just a sale.

Some other titles that I can recall:

the Freaky Friday remake
The Love Bug (Lindsay Lohan)
The Shaggy Dog (Tim Allen)
Sky High
The Parent Trap (Lindsay Lohan)
Old Yeller 2-movie set
and several more...

I have:

200 animated (201 this week when I'll get The Aristocats)
25 live-action
20 treasures
4 boxed sets
2 blu-rays
61 VHS

So that makes a total of around 249 Disney DVDs, 2 blu-rays and 61 VHS.

I only include official Disney releases (not Miramax dvds for example).
I have a collection of over 400 other-than-disney DVDs.

And I guess I will make my blu-ray collection grows this summer... :)

For a small total of 61 Disney DVDs.

Hey, I'm working on it.
