Yeah all of them can be unlocked though subspace. When you finish subspace you still are missing 3 characters. If you return to subspace and go to The Forest, The Ruins, and The Swamp there will be new doors that you can enter and unlock the other characters.rs_milo_whatever wrote:thanks SuperAurora!!!
you mean i could have unlocked all of them through subspace???
i feel stupid

Well you said you beat the story mode Subspace right? so you got majority of the characters there. Only Jigglypuff, Wolf, and Toon Link you need to beat SSE and then go back to SSE to unlock em. Those three aren't in the actual story.rs_milo_whatever wrote:thanks SuperAurora!!!

collecting trophies is pretty challenging.
Multiplayer is still quite fun. The new characters actually bring something different to the gameplay, and it's marginally improved from Melee.
Where the game falls flat on its face is Subspace Emissary. The videos are really cool, but as far as I can tell, the only way to access them is to play through the game again. What made Adventure work so well in Melee is that it used the environments from the games the characters come from, and where there were enemies, they were all natural to each world. It was also a better length. There's just not enough variety to support six or more hours of gameplay, and making the player do essentially everything again before meeting the final boss is just aggravating.
Now that I've unlocked all characters and stages, I'll be having fun with Classic, All Star, multiplayer, and the occasional Challenge Board item.

How are the Classic controllers with Brawl?
I've been using a Gamecube controller, and its great. Although I'm interested in a classic if it works ok.
I know Kart will use the Gamecube and Classic as well, thats one reason I'm debating picking one up now. The other is the Gamecube controllers have very short cords, and I'm used to sitting back now with the Wii Remote being Wireless. I figure the Classic is cheaper than trying to find a used Wavebird now.
How do the controls compare to the Gamecube? I have no VC games, and right now I highly doubt I will get any, so it will be used mainly for games like Brawl, Kart, etc...

The d pad is the taunts
the left joystick to move around, and right joystick is the smashes whic works awesome.
A buttom is A moves and same for the B Buttom to special moves
shield button is on top along with grab button which is z
X and Y buttons are jump moves.
The way they are layed out is simple and basic. I like the classic controller the best for me.
So I recommend trying it.

Okay, I finally picked up this game, today! Finally! I'm so excited to play it. Anyway, I think we should all post our Smash Bros. Brawl codes, so that we can add each other and have a UD Smash Bros. Brawl fight!
I've added Yamiiguy, because he has already posted his.
Here is my SSBB code:

Hopefully you all will post yours, and then add me!

I'll get my code the next time I'm on the Wii. I would love to have some Brawls with some of the UD crowd.
I still haven't played anything but random matches online.
Only two of my friends have Wiis. I haven't found time to setup a Brawl with one of them, and the other has already traded Brawl back in to Gamestop. So my Friend List isn't really a list at all. Just one person.... oh well.

A Toon to the Past
Toon Waker
Ocarina of Toon
Four Toon
Toonlight Princess
Toontom Hourglass
"I just wonder what Ganon up to...!"
Bottom Line: Toon Link kicks ass.
Although I'm best with Snake and Zero Samus.
Toon Link, Wolf and ROB are right under there.
