I picked Hunchback but I think the platinum titles should be these...
*The first 5
*All animated movies from 1950-1967
*All films from The Little Mermaid to Tarzan
I know thats 23 titles BUT I DONT CARE!
Dust? Anyone? No?
Dust? Anyone? No?
Dust? Anyone? No?

Well thats actually low in fat so you can eat as much of that as you like.

Yeah, the current DVD is good, but "Dumbo" deserved a lot more. At least they could restore it properly!
But I won't be surprised if sometime in the future they release a 2-disc set of "Dumbo" - at least in Europe this is very possible (just look at "Peter Pan" and "Sleeping Beauty")!

Just realize... If by the end of 2007 or so, Disney has really released all the collector's edition they are promising us, then 21 of the 42 classics will have received deluxe treatment! Just check out!

-Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs*
-Pinocchio
-Fantasia*
-Bambi
-Cinderella
-Alice in Wonderland
-Peter Pan*
-Lady and the Tramp
-Sleeping Beauty*
-101 Dalmatians
-The Jungle Book
-The Little Mermaid
-Beauty and the Beast*
-Aladdin
-The Lion King
-Pocahontas
-Tarzan*
-Fantasia 2000*
-The Emperor's New Groove*
-Atlantis: The Lost Empire*
-Lilo & Stitch

*titles already released, at least in Europe

And probably other collector's editions will be announced sometime in the future, like "Hunchabck" and "Three Cababalleros". Can't wait to have them all! :)

Every animated classic should be made a plantinum.

I think that every animated classic should be made into a platinum edition. Is is really any skin off Disney's back to change the packaging and rummage through their monstrous vault to please fans (not to mention-make a few bucks) These films are such a part of our culture, so why not give us what we want? The whole vault concept is stupid, because not releasing films just because you have the power to is just dumb on their part. But anyway, I vote for Robin Hood as well for a Platinum, because it is so much better than Alice in Wonderland and the Jungle Book.
