That's what I've been hoping for all along. With the sequel being at least half animated! ;) Plus with Nancy having a bigger part.... and SINGING! :D

Am I the only one that thinks Enchanted has a very good chance of becoming a Broadway musical? It would be very easy to do the 'animation' part, especially if you've seen Evita.

...Have I mentioned this before? LOL, sorry.

That would be a cool idea! :D

So what's this bonus disc I keep reading about that came with the Enchanted DVD if you brought it at Target? 'Cause I just brought the DVD tonight at Best Buy and it came with a free junior novelization of the film and a cute little story booklet about Giselle before she fell into the well. And I also noticed that at Walmart, the DVD came with a free journal. (Which I wanted really badly, but I decided not to be impulsive about my buying. But then again, I didn't know we were gonna stop by Best Buy afterwards.)

I would LOVE for that to happen. The only thing is, there's so few songs! Of course, they could always write more and include ones that were snuffed in the film. I'd love it.

Especially if James Marsden and Idina Menzel revived their roles.... :P

In the stage musical, they actually had a screen that they used to show the lives of Eva Peron and Juan Peron.

Hi y'all! I was wondering, if anyone got the Target exclusive disc for "Enchanted" could someone please post it on YouTube so I can see whether or not it is worth the purchase. And if the disc is available for the Blu-ray version (because on the website it said for the standard DVD, so.....). I think I'll eventually go to BB to get the reward points, but does anyone know if you can price match the Blu-ray from Circuit City and then use a $10 off reward coupon? That would be pretty nice since I would pay the same amount for the Blu-ray as the DVD is. Thanks if anyone can help me.

Oh, okay, cool! Yes, if they did it like that, it could work.

I can tell you right now that it is DEFINITELY worth the purchase and you don't need to watch it on YouTube first to be convinced. It's a solid 30-minute featurette that gives a great overview of the making of the film with plenty of great interviews, BTS footage, PENCIL ANIMATION, Enchanted-versus-Other-Disney-Films comparisons, etc. Stuff like this should've been on the regular release, and while I love that it's available as a store-exclusive, I also hate that it's only a store-exclusive.

But yeah, you don't need to preview it online, just go and get that sucker now before the first-week sales are over!

(Blu-Ray doesn't have the store-exclusive disc, sorry.)

Come to think of it, I don't think "Enchanted" is getting a 2-Disc DVD release. "Cars" didn't get one, and "Ratatouille" didn't get one either, and both movies were successful. But, "Pirates" got one, and so did "Narnia" and "National Treasures." It's all very confusing.

Maybe it didn't offer a lot of special features...?

Grr still do not own this DVD ! Roll on April 7th !

Amy Adams mentioned in the 'Enchanted' press interviews that the cast were live-action models for the Disney artists in the animated portion of the movie. Is this included on the DVD? In any of the making of sections, a la Sleeping Beauty / Peter Pan etc?

I debated back and fourth whether or not I would purchase the DVD. I saw the movie in the theaters and I thought it was pretty cute, but I wasn't sure if I felt I really needed to own it. However, today I got a $5 dollar off coupon from my Reward Zone membership with Best Buy, so that was one of the factors that went into my ultimate decision to end up buying the DVD. I picked up my copy from Best Buy, and I'll probably give the film another once over here in the next couple of days.

Yap! I think it's on the bonus disc though. They show Giselle doing the scene in the wedding dress.... As well as the scene where she says "you should sing to her!" to Robert. But, they film Amy Adams and then drew the animated Giselle in Andalasia. The very first pics we saw of Giselle were from that animation test, where her hair is more of a blonde color. Pretty cool. :)
