I don't believe Target matches prices the way most box stores do. I tried at a Target store a few months ago, and I was told by the customer service desk that they no longer do that. A quick search on google tells me that they still don't match prices.

I just picked up my copy at the Disney Store - i'm very surprised the Blu-Ray's do not have slipcovers - especially since most of the Disney releases do.

How was it on the bonus stuff ? I am starting to get curious if Disney is not putting less bonus stuff on their dvds since Blu-ray is now out ? I hope Sleeping Beauty dvd has a ton of bonus stuff on it. I will also be getting Sleeping Beauty on Blu-Ray as well as DVD, but it might be a long time before I watch the Blu-Ray disc as I don't have a Blu-Ray player and I don't have plans to buy one anytime soon.

I haven't gotten a chance to watch it yet, but I will post back soon. I'm also looking forward to the Sleeping Beauty Blu-Ray disc.

The good thing about having to wait longer is you will enjoy it all the more when it comes out :) Well this is the case for me. With Sleeping Beauty I allready have it on dvd and vhs, but I am not going to watch it until the new dvd edition comes out, because this way I will enjoy it even more :)

Can anyone confirm that the Blu-Ray version does not come with the slipcase? I haven't been to any other stores today that sell movies so I couldn't look.

I just got my copy from Circuit City a few hours ago, and my father even sat and watched it with me (we don't... get along), so you can imagine how exciting it was. :) Although I have one HUGE complaint. That "Storybook Adventure" thing, was the lamest thing I've seen in years. What a disappointing way to follow up a masterpiece like Enchanted.

I also found the easter egg for Ever Ever After. Like it was said in the review or something, it wasn't very hard to find, but it's still great to even have it. Are there any more easter eggs that anyone else found/are available?

Lastly, what happened to that other documentary, Back to Roots (videos, right arrow twice)? It looked very promising. :(

I'll add that last night was my first complete viewing of Enchanted. I blind-bought simply on rave reviews (and the trailers steered me away), and I definitely wasn't disappointed. A cute, even funny film that's let down a bit by its rather "eh" climax... still a fine addition to any family's DVD library. And it has enough to offer for adult viewers to enjoy too.

Amy Adams and James Marsden deserve some sort of award for playing their stereotypical characters with a completely straight face. (And I found it extremely ironic that one scene in Enchanted has Marsden standing in Times Square with a big Superman Returns poster in the foreground behind him, probably the scene where his character first arrives in New York.) Patrick Dempsey made for a good romantic foil, but his character seemed a bit too passive. And Idina Menzel is beautiful in this film... unlike in RENT where she looked skanky.

After hearing about the Bonus Disc I think I'll order the DVD from the US in Fullscreen and then when it comes out over here buy the Widescreen version from HMV and get the bonus disc.

Dammit. Are you kidding me?! That's the whole reason I wanted to buy it! UGH. I'm trying to persuade my friend in California to send me the disc later. :D

Do you have a dvd player that plays Region 1 dvds ? You may allready know all of this, but just to be safe I wanted to go ahead and tell you so you don't order a dvd that you can't play.

Check out this link to Amazon about dvd Region Encoding

Also I think the bonus disc that a lot of people are talking about is the one from Target. Enchanted is a 2 disc set, so it allready comes with a bonus disc. But I think you might be talking about the extra bonus disc that you get if you buy it from Target ? I am not sure if Target does mail orders though ?

Hey everyone I have a few questions to ask, please help me answer these questions....

1. I bought the Enchanted DVD at Target with the bounus disc...anyone know where I can find, or buy a DVD case that holds two disc ala Disney DVD Platiums? I want one where the 2nd disc flips....please let me know where I can buy one? I just need one, not a set.....

2. Who bought this movie on Blu-Ray? If so what was inside of it? Example the Enchanted DVD had a $10.00 off coupon for the Blu-Ray, and the Blu-Ray version have a coupon for the DVD?

3. Did you buy this DVD FULLSCREEN or WIDESCREEN?

Yes, I have a region free DVD player and HMV are exclusively offering the Target Bonus Disc over here in the UK.

yeah the Target bonus disc practically makes the set a 2-disc special edition. Any news of a double dip anytime soon? one that would feature the Giselle animation acting test and the deleted song "Enchanted"?

Uhm, it just got released today. Do you really think Disney would be stupid enough to leak news about a better release on the first day of sales?

Yeah, I rushed out to Target on Tuesday morning to snag a copy of the widescreen edition with the bonus disc and was not disappointed in the bonus disc at all. But that's kind of the problem...

The "core" DVD has so few extras that it left me very underwhelmed by it. The Target Bonus DVD makes up for this oversight to such a degree that it's actually disappointing that they didn't just include this to begin with. It's so much better than those three individual behind-the-scenes videos that are included on the movie's DVD.

Question: Is the content from the Target Bonus DVD ("Becoming Enchanted: A New Classic Comes True") included on the Blu-Ray Disc?

Ah, I came home and there was a small brown package with Amazon.com on it. Enchanted and 101 Dalmatians came yesterday! :D

I'll write my review later.
